thank you for replying...

OK. I checked them out. Now what?

If you are expecting people to come running to your door based upon the talent shown in those pictures, you will be subject to great disappointment.

I understand that you are young, which is good, but youth is not really an excuse for a lack of professionalism in this business.

I think I understand what you are doing, though. It is the same thing that tens of thousands of girls on this site are doing. You dug up a bunch of pics of yourself that you had hanging around and posted them here hoping against hope that someone would be amazed with your beauty and want to hire you.

So, OK. Life is a competition. Modeling is a competition. Once in a very rare while the right agent will see the right girl who is so striking that he uses all of his contacts to get the girl a bunch of gigs. It only happens to a very few people a year.

You have shown us what you look like. OK. (And you have shown us what your legs look like without the rest of you attached. Why? To show us a prismatic effect across your knees? YES!!! That will certainly bring all of the pros running! Not.)

You are young enough that it should be easier to mold and groom yourself into a potential model. In your country, however, you have quite a lot of cookie cutter competition. The looks of females in your part of the world are so very similar that it is hard to stand out in a crowd. You do not look like you are going to gain much more in height and you already are a bit short even for the Philippines.

Therefore, you need to concentrate on your training and to find a photographer willing to work with you as your professional skills grow. Find a photographer that regularly shoots the hundreds of beauty pageants you have there yearly. Perhaps that tog will have some contacts that can get you into a few youth fashion shows.

Learn to make-over yourself into different looks and start matching your clothing towards what a wider world audience demands. The fluffy, flowery, pastel formal outfits used in your country as a result of your ancient Spanish heritage do not really play well across the rest of the industry or the world. Target your look to what the industry wants.

Any 14 year old can look like a teeny-bopper. Can you look like something else?

And no, I cannot guess which pair of legs are yours and nor do I want to! Contrary to popular belief, scouts are not looking for a bride or bed-warmer. Scouts are looking for talent that they can sell. You chase and disinterest people with illogical and unnecessary skin shots.

Keep it professional and then see where the cards fall. No one is going to take you seriously with the current story that your portfolio tells.

I hope to see more of you and hope that you can manage to get yourself some training and experience.
:cantlook: Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should

You've got to approach agents & let them know you're not only interested but serious too! the above post is pretty much to the point, but if you don't try making contact with agents, maybe try contacting scouts too you may get lost in the crowd:dunno:

Karl, that might seems harsh but at the same time is the truth. You try yielding his advice
