where ARE the washrooms around here anyway? Why do we struggle to paddle upstream while the river is taking us where we need to go? |

Why would it be unacceptable? Transvestites are part of show business, too.
Transvestites have been, can be and currently are Models, Actors, Singers,
etc.
When you hire people, you hire them for their professional performance and not
for their personal preferences. If the two happen to be the same, so be it. As
with any job, as long as professional decorum is observed, there will be no
problems.
I am beginning to wonder if you can stand anyone who is not of your narrow world
view.
I abhor prejudice. Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should |

I agree with you Carib.
As far as I can see this site is for networking with people in the industry and
those trying to get in the industry.
Gary where do you fit in?
Love not war.

hair and make-up tips. This would seem to be the right place for
that.
I will admit that whoever takes that task on will definitely have their work cut
out for them, because they have a monumental job ahead of them.
One other concern...should he (or she) be listed as a male model or female
model??
Good evening to all! |

be if the guy dresses classy and has decent pictures, then more power to him.
But, if he has a five o'clock shadow and likely put on the dress as a gag, and
has crappy pictures, then I'm likely to reject him.
Also he needs to correctly categorize what it is that he does, entertainment,
acting, singing or modeling. If he's just looking for a dating service, as
indicated in his comments, then I'm likely to reject that request. If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try! |

a guy falling out of a bar after a stags night, dressed in cheap nasty dress
with nylon wig and a 5.00 shadow that is at least a day out of date and you get
something close to the picture.
I have no problem with whatever people are or want to be but the images I saw
were of a guy I guess was doing this as a piss take and not in any way serious.
If I am correct, he is making a joke of this site and there is no place for his
profile. If I am wrong, then he must have had a very bad hair day when he did
his pics.
To be honest, I feel that if everybody here saw the same pics, at least 90%
would reject the profile.
TVs .... no problem. Piss takers .... now that's a different story! |

as a unique job alternative in fact... Should they have a separate category? Yes
why not?
Should this condition be made public? In Asia so may transvestites are so
feminine that there's no difference with women. In Taiwan there's a very famous
and beautiful female TV host that is known for having been a man in olden
days... No one could tell...

looked like a joke to me. I wouldnt have a problem with someone if they had
somewhat of a serious attitude. It really looked like something that my guy
friends would do as a prank. |

Hey, take a chill pill!
Still with the low class prejudices, huh? Wow, you must have had a messed up
childhood. You are freaking scary. Because someone is a transvestite you believe
that person is only qualified to be an entertainer?
I am old enough to remember the days when a black person was automatically
expected to sing because "all black people can sing". You have no idea how
hurtful and insulting those kind of beliefs are.
If he wants to try and be a model he has as much right as anyone here to try his
own style to attract enough attention to make it big. So, if it is all right to
reject his profile, I would think it is all right to reject all profiles with
"My Space" style images. Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should |

entertainer |

Things are going way too far, Gary, when you start calling people sexually
derogatory names. I would think that you are adult enough by now not to resort
to childish flaming. That post is being deleted.
You asked a question to start this topic. Your question has been answered.
Since the maturity level of this topic is rapidly descending into the sewer, I
am going to lock it. If I face your wrath for doing so, so be it. Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should |
