| Date: 2008-10-18 19:53 I exercise pretty regularly and strenght train while doing the cardio.... I have
looked up the internet for some post workout meals and it says that it should
have a minimal amt of fat and a ratio of carbs ro protien of 2:1 or 4:1. I did
have a protien smoothie but hated the taste, any good post workout shake ideas
which contains at least 20+ grams of protien and less than 360 calories? |

you need to eat. |

definition in. This is where a trainer will be helpful in guiding you on the
proper techniques and work-outs.
As far as diet is concerned, if you really want more muscle mass, you will want
the overpriced diet supplements like your protein smoothie.
If it's just some definition you are going for, then the diet is as simple as
eating healthy, and don't over indulge in any type of food. Be sure to eat
enough to account for the calories burned during your work outs. Plus, eat
smaller meals and more often. For example, instead of a heavy lunch and/or
dinner, have a lighter lunches dinners and snack in between. The idea is to keep
your digestive system working all the time and maintain a steady conversion of
energy. Instead of the stop-go-stop-go norm of breakfast, lunch and dinner. For
some people, that's six meals a day - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a couple of
snacks in between like fruits, energy bars, and even protein smoothies. |

metabolism. You want a fast digesting protein and a relatively simple carb
chain.
Mine usually consists of 50 grams of chocolate whey, sugar free and 2 medium
banana's stuck in a blender with ice and water. Based on your size, cut that in
half.
If you prefer solid food, 6 egg whites and fruit, or 1/2 cup of plain white
rice
remember, you have at most 45 minutes for your body to use this material in a
muscle building mode. After that, it becomes just "Another meal." |

parts of the world, a very thin person with no muscle tone would not be
considered attractive at all. In other places, LOTS of curves are very desirable
in other locations (Anyone seen a bollywood movie lately?)
Anyway, good luck in your goals Sasha!! |
