What is the worst movie you ever saw?

Swept Away (2002) - The Guy Ritchie remake, of the 1974 classic, starring his then wife Madonna.

American pie:cantlook:
it's repeated on tv here in the uk so much that I'm truly sick of the sight of it:cantlook:

Evita starring Madonna

Mars Attacks, some people say I didn't 'get' it but I thought it was just a bad movie.
People can always doubt what you say, but they can't doubt what you do.

Don't worry too much about it. There is nothing to "get." It was just not very entertaining. Some cool special effects, but otherwise, un-involving.

It's meant to be a homage to the 1950s sci-fi B-movies. But the movies it pays homage to are better - as far as telling an entertaining story is concerned.

shanghai surprise. Modonna again..

I loved it, and I do agree that some people just didn't 'get' it. But I guess they won't know what they don't get because you have to have the same sensibility as the film maker.... it's just something you're born with or without I think. There are a lot of very popular movies that I don't 'get' what the fuss is about.

one type of movie I absolutely hate is anything full of rap:cantlook:
Oh My F*** its awful!:cantlook:
:saint:

Men in black absolutely sucks!!

I like to think that people can enjoy a movie based on what is presented to them on the screen. Some movies are just that, an entertaining (or not) ride. For example: The original Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Rabbit Proof Fence, Strictly Ballroom, Hero, or Infernal Affairs. There are no hidden subtext. We don't need to know, nor care if Luke is related to Leia.

Then there are the movies that allow you to use your brain and make you think a little after the movie is over. For example: Chungking Express, Brazil, In the Mood for Love, or Ashes of Time. Aren't you dying to know what happens to the cop and the flight attendant in Chungking Express?

Is that MIB 1, or MIB 2, or both?:cantlook:

scary movie :endecided: i know it's comedy and those movies aren't supposed to be smart. i know they are parodies of other movies. yet i can't tell how boring and lame all the scary movies are (in my opinion).

Chucky series. Why didn't anyone think to kick the little shit accross the room. He was a doll!

A close #2 is the 1991 Ken Russell movie that was renamed to "If You're Afraid to Say It... Just See It" for its video release. It starred Theresa Russell.
