Here is tip #2. Some general Photoshop knowledge is assumed. This works for the CS3 version. It may or may not work for earlier versions.

SELECTION:
The sometimes overlooked Magnetic Lasso tool.
Select it from the tool palette. Change the Width, Contrast %, and Frequency, if needed. The width determines the radius from an edge that PS would consider laying down a path. The contrast % determines what PS would consider as an edge when laying down a path. The frequency determines how often anchor points are added to the path.
Click on one edge of the area you want to select to add an anchor point. Trace the cursor around the area you want to select. Click to manually add anchor points to the path. Press the delete/back-space key to delete the latest anchor point. Close the path by click on (or near) the first anchor point. PS will convert that path to a selection.

That is entirely your opinion. I've already explained to you via message why I did it.

No good deed goes unpunished. :(

I don't know why you had to open 3 separate threads:doh:
If you had put them in 3 separate posts they would have been in separate boxes anyway:thumbup: Melissa sent me a message & it came up on my gmail or I'd not be back on right now but what she said in what she told me is basically right about a few things but I don't make such a bug fuss over this & that going on:thumbup:
o.k. I will say maybe a mistake has been made in the way these tips were posted, but what's done is done, some of the moderators can be a bit touchy about it, it might get locked & maybe not... just need to wait & see what happens:thumbup:

I find it odd that you will call this spam, But you have no problems with posts like "spell you name in numbers" Like I said in photoshop tricks one, perhaps it is you who is "spamming for point". If you have nothing to contribute to the topic, then don't bother to post. I know I get tired of reading about you calling SPAM or SCAM on any topic that is not relevent to you. I am sure I am not alone in this.
 Cheers
