Should profile pictures be made mandatory to have an account?:dunno:
I've noticed the amount of new members joining recently that have absolutely no photo's whatsoever in their accounts, most are in Flirtzone...

How do you know if you can trust someone with no pictures or not:dunno:
Most of the scammers that try their luch have these accounts with no photo's in them so it's impossible to tell if the member is for real or not:doh:

So... should all new members have to upload pictures to open an account here?

No :)
Anyway, if the person does not want to upload his/her photo and it would be required, he/she may upload fake photos just to have them there. Will you trust it more? I would not.
Love to Love

Pictures can tell a lot about experience of model/phtographer/stylist/etc but i think you're too strict on this one. what if someone decides to create an account on jurgita.com but wants to upload pictures later? like a week later or even a month later. should these people be rejected automatically? it doesn't make much sense to me.

Rasa N.:

No :)

Fair enough point:thumbup:
I just brought this up as there's been a lot of new members with no pictures & there's been a bit of a buzz in the air with some of the others for a while wondering why:thumbup:

Only a suggestion but would too strict:thumbup:
The buzz in the air from some of the others is the concern that there could be some scammers in among them too, though Rasa's point about fake photos... you see a lot of that on dating sites & social network sites already & there's no way to really verify the photo's are of the person or not unless you were face to face with them:thumbup:

I agree with Gary Young. Without a pic Lex lane's account would be worhtless:muscle:

I do agree that a photo should not be mandatory...

However, as I have seen in many new accounts created, without a photograph, their height and weight ratios are way out of wack. For example 5' 9" in height weighing 55 lbs...is far from realistic...

However, I think it should be mandatory to put in factual height and weight and at list put something in one of the fields...

I am not saying that as soon as a person signs up they have to spend 5 minutes typing in all their experience or so on, but at least 1 sentence in one catagory.

I myself have signed up to websites and just not had to time or patience to sit down and typing everything in at one sitting, but one sentence in any field is not that time consuming and helps the moderators file through the accounts easier and give some insight into the person.

I do not believe photos are mandatory, because there is too much fakery out there. People just have to be careful who they deal with on sites like this. Address issues in forums.

It's easy to copy a photo from most places, that's how scammers get them:thumbup:
So it's as easy for someone that's got not so good intentions to just copy photo's from somewhere & use them to create a profile on here, so effectivly making it mandatory wouldn't stop the fakes, was just an idea though:thumbup:

Yes & no.. well most scammers presently dont have photos up so they're in among the photo-less, I'm not bothered either way but am sorta reluctant when moderating them!
:saint:

Well, you all should know how I feel. I say out with them all!

If you can't make an effort, even a fake photo is better than nothing, why would you want to associate yourself. Just to take up space?

Actors should have credits and photos, so too dancers, producers--all professionals!

And who flirts with someone with no image? Although I don't participate in that aspect, I'd want an illusion, if I did.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

I've got to retract me earlier semi pull back & agree with Charles on this one:thumbup:
After all... some of the other sites won't verify your profile if you don't upload pictures, and when I joined up here back in march I couldn't proceed past the photo uploading process as the info said my profile couldn't be verified without photos & I'm just an ordinary member so if it's not required now it must have changed since:dunno:

Hello all,
Yes, the rules have obviously been relaxed. I frequently find myself asking why someone would join a site like Jurgita and not be able to download even one photo. It hints at the seriousness of the applicant.

Pictures shouldn't be mandatory for most types of accounts. It is their choice if they want to be taken seriously in this business or not.

The bigger issue may be that some profiles, say, a producer, have no pictures AND no listings in their professional experiences. Or photographers who states they want to shoot nudes, but only have pictures of trees or their pets in their portfolios. How would anyone make a decision base on that? Yes, everyone has to start somewhere. But would it not be better to say "I am starting out with little experience but want to learn...." then to pretend to be something one is not?

Is one a producer if they have no production credit? What if they have no production credits and a picture? Will that make them a more experienced producer?

This is a tough one
I don't think there is a right or wrong answer here.
I honestly beilive there are people on this site who have no interest in modeling - photography or any part of the industry - they are here - to check out models and ask for hook ups or prey on the ametuers. When I am looking for a model if they have no pix or a pix from a cell phone - I don't even bother. When one of these come to me for moderation - you know they are not models or photographers, but it is an approve or disapprove only question - I am more forgiving for the just happy people and other industry types. Are there plenty of just starters on here who have tons of pontential - but lack a professional port?
Yes.
I can't judge a talent from a developing country as I can from the US or England or France - and I won't judge them the same - every one has the same chance.
But the spammers are here - and so I might add are the con-artists - praying on young and unguided. These too need to be kept in check.
We must all use our best judgement in our moderating - and keep a watchful eye on the ones who have come here to grow and learn and advance themselves.

Take heart, Juan!!!;)
Thanks sweets, for CARING with passion for Preliminary Precepts for Ultimate CAUTION!!>>>
I know exactly along what lines you meant this!:D:D:D
But *U* know "Freedom of Choice" headbutts the SOUND ( in) Track & in tact, & we can ONLY "buffer the static", before removing the erratic!:lips:

Kar, I loved that deductve reasoning--Pro Choice & Right to LIFE on Jurgita's=INTERSESTING Political campaigning--Kinda like instituting the defendant's: Innocence until proven guilty strategy!:D........*U* deserve kudos for that!!;)
To Answer the last Q: Certainly Not a Producing Producer; but, as an entrant it allows for distinction of clarifying which direction will be pursued by distinguishing thee domain of categorical listing. However, One would then be ONLY a possible perspiring Aspirant, 'til an obtainable credit removes the sweaty no OP. :lips::lips::cool:

BETWEEN the TWO AFFIRMATIVE PLEASANT PRESENCE of

SIMPLY perceptively Wonderful in seeing various facets of realism, as Rasa is earthy enough to foresee & firmly say.

Indeed you have ALL made it a Memorable Memorial Day in & outside the USA's Traditional Holiday>>>>

Yeah, :muscle:Kenneth:muscle:!!:D:cool:
It's kinda hard to be eyes behind the scenes & screens, without a face in this aspect.
Like I've NEVER seen a MODEL get a job or an actress get a part for the INVISIBLE WOMAN, without showing up to the cast call FIRST, before being chosen for a ghostly part!
:cantlook: No.. WAIT.. REALLY CAN'T SEE!!:thumbup::muscle:

I don't think photos should be mandatory. If somebody has scam intention or other it won't stop them. As mentioned above-everybody can use fake...Depends on the type of profile...but anyway, people that are not confident in their photo appearance should have right to join and communicate.
