i mean, what character should a person be? what do you think? i.e. i imagine that hairdresser needs to be patient, cos clients usually are not patient.

Patient as well :)
I am still here

Luciana just said that Yana - Patient yes most of them are - why do you think most people discuss personal matters with them. They must also be creative, cause when someone whats style out of magazine they have to do what they do. ;)

Passionate about your work is a foundational aspect.
Patience is an axle...
So anyone can endure the carpal tunnel syndrome type stress that sometimes occurs with the years of wrist action in this territory of mightily demanding mane attractive manual labor. :lips:
Whether it be :lips::lips: OR :muscle::muscle:. . ."TRUE BLUE" IS The GENE that fits ALL;)

And thats why I love u Tekhanei - You always say it best;)

 vote with Tekhanei and Cory!!! ;)

TREAT OTHERS THE WAY U WANT TO BE TREATED I KNO ITS A RWAL OLD SAYING YOU HEAR ALL THE TIME BUT JUSS BECUASE ITS BECAME A CLICHE QUOTE DONT MEAN ITS NOT TRUE !!BUT WITH THE WHOLE STYLIST THING WE AS THE CLIENTS HAVE TO REMEMBER OUR LOOK IN THERE HANDS AND OUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS THEM CAN BE CRUCIAL AND THERE SHOULDNT BE A REASON TO BE RUDE EVER TO ANY ONE THAT GOES FOR BOTH CLIENT AND STYLIST BE A COMPOSED SELF RESPECTED AND DIGNIFIED PERSON ALWAYS BEAUSE NO ONE WANTS TO WORK WITH A NAGGING SELF ABSORBED CLICHE CLOTHES WEARING PEST!! WE AS CLIENTS ALSO REMEMBER OUR LIVES OUR PROBABLY JUSS AS HECTIC AS OURS THEY DEALL WITH CUSTOMERS ALL DAY WHO REALLY DONT CARE ABOUT ANY THING ELSE THAN THEMSELVES AND YOU COULD BE THAT PERSON WHO PUSHES THEM TO THE LAST NERVE AND IN ALL REALITY THEY COULD HAVE BEEN THE KINDEST PERSON IN THE WORLD AND YOUR BEING NICE COULD HAVE MADE THEM FEEL BETTER AND USUALLY BEING NICE MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER!!!:D

i don't think it's good when people think their stylists are their therapists - it must be difficult to listen to others problems all the day
following the topic, i guess a stylist must be precise and concentrated, cos absent minded one can do a damage :D

Well, Hello Humor:-- Is that a 2-for-1 specialist fee for that combo (of Stylist & Therapist)...& Does that equal double tipping??;)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>
Keeping with that scenario in mind:)
[Is this a dye-job or job to 'die' for?]
Stylists can be choosey, but can they ultimately choose the style, for their client?
Customer is the #1, 2 please=--->To pay, toupee, or to play!

what kind of person a stylist should be? am n ordinary person, fair looking, can i become a stylist.....i think no......nobody can accept me.....so my situation compell me to follow athe traditional way.....but i want to become a mardren Man.....i tried myself a lot....so i think..my attitude, way of walking, talking, and other aspect s different and am suite for a good person...a stylist should be a very beautiful handsome guy, he should have some unique attitude, which i dont have...am very sad about that....he should be attractive....am i right?

i don't think that a stylist must be attractive :dunno: well unless you want to date all your clients:thumbup: but then again beauty can't do everythin if you know what i mean

Usually clients are looking atractive...they r very much aware about the beauty .....if am not attractive nodody look on me.....if i have any unique character like my eye or my skin....99% of the people identify me easily...these advantage want our clients am i right? :)
shan

i always rate a stylist by the way he/she communicates with me. if a stylist acts like doesn't care what's she/he doing then i won;t come back.
however what you say reminded me of something :) i remember when a was in hairstyle saloon and some conservative mid-age woman entered. when she saw that the one non-occupied stylist was with very modern hairstyle, she refused to have her hair done by that stylist. according to that woman the hairdresser looked terrible and there couldn't be a way that she understands something about a style and beauty. i guess what i'm trying to say is that we all got our own image about what is beautiful and what is not.
if you worry that you don't look like people that you consider beautiful, you can be proud of being unique:thumbup: that's always better

A stylist should of course be stylish and set an example to their clients

Dont you think???

:lips::lips::lips::lips:

A stylish should look into his body, taking care his face, hair, eyes...each and every body parts...and he have to expose them out....every people have their own way of style...some peole dont like others styles....but what my view s thatwe cant satisfy 100% people...but atleast if u want to get more exposure...u need to set urself according to others likes and dislikes....
shan

maybe all of the above

I think the work of the stylist with a personality that charms, is more benneficial than the most handsome with no *concern at all...
*Kind of like what :saint: LUCIANA was saying.
That element of care is what makes someone comfortable.:)
