share your ideas :cool: i was impressed by "the birds" by Alfred Hitchcock when i was i child :shocked: i can't actually remember the whole movie but that was REALLY SCARY :shocked::cantlook::cantlook::cantlook:

The scariest movie for me was the Original "Tales from the Crypt" I think it came out in 1976. I also liked the original "Nightmare on Elm Sreet".

well actually i've never felt that there is really a "scary" movie.
I think some of the most entertainin r Resident EVil , Aliens 2 , and all parts of SCary Movie(1,2,3,4)

I would probably have to say that for me it would be Hostle or maybe even "The Saw" series - they were pretty gruesome and the way people were tortured - some what disturbing. Just a thought;)

FOR ME IT IS HARD TO SAY BECAUSE THESE DAYS ITS NOT SO MUCH ABOUT HORROR ANY MORE IT SEEMS TO BE ALL ABOUT GORE ,SO I WOULD HAVE TO SAY I GET GROSSED OUT MORE WITH TODAYS "HORROR" MOVIES INSTEAD OF ACTUALLY SCARED!! I THOUGHT THE MOVIE WRONG TURN WAS SCARY BUT THATS ONLY BECAUSE I SCARE VERY EASILY ,ESPECIALLY WHEN THING JUST JOLT OUT OF NO WHERE BUT IN THAT MOVIE THERE WAS ALOT OF GORE AS WELL WHICH DIDNT MAKE ME SCARED JUST REALLY SICK FEELING!!SO I USUALLY DONT WATCH THOSE KIND OF MOVIES OR ANY REMAKES OF MOVIES BECUASE THE ORIGINAL IS USALY BETTER !!

Jepers Creepers 1&2 - i think that's the right name :P the first horror movies that i watched .. and i think i'v never been as scared :cantlook: but it's long time ago soo ;)

The Hills Have Eyes was a kinda good one more sorta gruesome at points and a lil jumpy....The Descent is a good one too for if your home alone and turn all the lights off :lol:

For me i basically grew up watching horror movies so they dont really scare me at all. I find that most of the newer horrors are just boring.. They mostly consist of blood and guts but no real decent plot line. I really liked Saw ..the first one.. the ending was just amazing! I also like 28 days later and The Devils Rejects. One movie that did scare me for some reason was The Shining.. i'm not sure why because compared to most movies i've seen its not gross.. maybe it was just the circumstances under which i watched it. I find movies are always scarier when you watch them alone at night.

I must say, the Saw series where the best.

they teach you a whole lot,

to respect life, to forgive and forget and bunch of more valuable lessons.

and its pretty scary since that could actually happen.
who knows, maybe some creep will decide to teach u a lesson and lock u up in a discusting bathroom.

Oh yes...I agree most new horror movies are boring and lame,

alot bite off of eachother.

like the ring, had the same freaky chick as the grudge, the messangers, sorta like dark water, the decent (the freaks moved the same way as the little girl)

idk i think its lame, and some horror movies seem more like a comedy.

The Descent,
that movie made no sense whats so ever.
And it was very random.

like it shows a girl who was in a car accident with her bf,
the bf dies,

and then they show like a time afer.

and shes going on a trip.
and randomly all her friends die.

its like wth?

lol its a waste of 3.99 for renting it.
