How many shot will the model get & also how much do you charge for a wedding occasion.
People can always doubt what you say, but they can't doubt what you do.

OK...three questions, not one.

1) How much do I charge a model for a photo session in my country?

Well, my country is a very big place with over 300 million people in it. There is not one set rate that I know of. I cannot give you my rates because models are not my customers. I do not ask models to pay me, my clients pay the models. If you are looking for how much models in your area pay for a portfolio, why not just pick up the telephone book, call a few photo studios and say that you are interested in having a portfolio package done. They will give you quotes for the different types of portfolio packages that they sell. In my tiny part of the United States of America, studios are charging from $250 to $500 for a set with five different looks. This generates about 25 images. Models would then pay extra for the ones they want blown up into 8x10 or larger prints.

2) How many shots will the model get?

Again, that varies greatly from studio to studio. Once more, your best bet for information is the telephone book.

3) How much do you charge for a wedding occasion?

I hate doing weddings. They are long and boring and always end the same. If I am roped into one, I will do a church set for $250 an hour. Once we move outdoors (and most weddings here are outdoors on the beach) the costs vary depending upon what is wanted. Rates for a two hour gig start at $1,000 and go up to $3,500. Extra prints, DVDs, website, etc. can be included for an additional charge.

I know that our local rates are higher than most places in the country. We are a resort destination, the number one wedding destination in the U.S. and have a pretty captive market with the nearest competitors 1200 miles away across an ocean. We also have to charge higher because camera equipment lasts only a year or two with continuous beach side shooting. Our customers do pay for the risks that they expose our equipment to.
:cantlook: Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should

Here in Daytona, unless the economy has driven prices down, weddings start at about $2000, jump fast to $4000 and can go higher. We are talking studios, not hungry photo students or semipros with a day job.

Studios provide nice packages, web site photo selection, video, albums, coffee table glossy hardback books--you name it.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

for prof. photo shoots photographers charge about $300(if U are not prof. model :))
I'm from Poland and I'm living in UK now.
