im getting married in may in th euk and im paying £1600 for photo album and 2 parenet albums and a black and white album

here in the Philippines it's mostly per wedding not per hour P 1,500.00 to P80,000.00

I live in mid-wales (uk) i'm currently chargin £300 - £450 for a days wedding dependin on what they require (eg- no. of photo's, style of album).
i don't charge by the hour because each wedding i've done has been different a day rate i find is more acceptible. for that price i take photo's of entire day, bride, groom etc all gettin ready, the venue, the weddin, posed photo's & all the way up too the first dance when i normally call it a day, i take photo's all day average between 600-700 per wedding that way i find i get plenty for them to choose from and you have good oppertunity to make bit of extra cash if they decide they want more photo's either by buyin a digi copy of all photo's or by orderin larger prints for the wall which aren't in there choice for an album.
pro photographers round this way charge anything from £450 up to £2000 (average price seeems to be approx £850)
1 photographer charges £450 but only takes 30 photo's turns up at the church doe's the usual shots and then goe's, not much of a personal touch but sayin that he doe's get plenty of work!

To better answer your question, I thought I would post some links to wedding photographer information in my area.

Wedding photography is not generally my forte. I am not the type to spend most of my day documenting an event. However, the Virgin Islands remains the number one wedding destination in the world and the skill, expertise (and pricing) of our photographers reflects that. They regularly photograph the common couple up to the billionaires and movie stars.

It should also be noted that most of our professional wedding photographers are affiliated with a wedding planning company, often through ownership, and that some of their prices are reflective of planning the wedding ceremony.

VI Wedding Photo, Pricing from $475 to $6,600*

Ceremonies St. John, Pricing from $350 to $2400*

Kelly Greer Photography, $300 per hour plus $3 minimum per mile traveled, packages up to $3,500, extra costs for additional services*

Weddings the Islands Way, up to $3400, additional services are extra, or $500 per hour*


Oh...and try not to be an amateur wedding photographer in this market. You will get your tush handed to you. :thumbup:

In Malta it s a whole package it usually varies on what you want and how much you willing to spend but they usually start from about 450-500 Euros

In Poland decorative album circa 60-100 photos with wedding and additional photosession in wedding dresses 500 euro - 750 $.

Here the photographers are payed for how many pics he made. That means we pay the pics, but are not so cheap:)

Nigeria they don't charge per hour, they'll probably calculate for the whole day, it should be about $800.

I charge per event and cover the rehesal wedding and reception and charge between $1,000 - $4,000 per wedding depending on the order they place.
