To Marquita,
I looked at your pics and you seem to have a slim build, so I can only guess you
have a little "Pooch" going on. LOL If that is the case, I would suggest that
first of all you increase your fiber, and include LOTS of greens in your diet.
Second, you will want to do some cardio work, compounded with lower ab work
(Meaning done one right after the other). Cardio can be walking or bike, but ab
work should be leg lifts and knee ups. Finally, if you are preparing for a shoot
and still have a little lulge there, apply some Preparation H to the area the
night before and cover with plastic wrap. Also, a little dandelion root will
work as a mild diuertic. If you have a swimwear shot you can send, I will be
glad to help further. good luck!
yeah.. my problem is pretty much on the lower abs.. and right now i think i need
to tone my legs..
and another problem exactly is i'm not confident with my body bec. of the
tummy.. so i dont really want to do any swim wear shots.. maybe when i achieve the
body that could make me confident i'll show you right now im doing
the exercises you've advised! and what's Preparation H? tnx
alot! |

|---|
| Date: 2007-04-30 10:22 Prepartation H is a hemorrhoid cream. It is used to locally extract water from
the skin and actually works well for what you are talking about, but only as a
last day prep before a shoot. Also, be on the look out for something called in
MSG in your food. It is known as Monosodium Glutamate and is put in many foods
as a flavor enhancer. For some reason this chemical tends to casue heavy water
retention in the area surrounding the intestines and bowels (Lower abs) and can
give you a real problem.
Good luck on the exercises!!! I really wish you the best. |

Before I ask for Help I would like to tell you that your a very helpful
person..without you here, most of the people here wouldn't get an accurate
response.So Thanks..
My issue:. how can I tone up my lower waist?.. I work out daily but Need to see
improvement there.
Imo the cause of my issue: ive been too comfortable about being thin..so im just
loosing it.. meaning im eating alot and im always hungry..although that may
sound silly hearing it from a person who's so thin... My brother was right,It's
catching up to me.

| Date: 2007-05-01 09:25 Diamond, first, thanks for the kind words, I appreciate them. Now, as for your
issue, if you are exercising, then you have something good going already. It is
hard to tell without a picture, however, can you tell me if your lower waist
pudge is sift (Like a pillow) or is it relatively hard? Can you pinch a roll or
a just an inch I guess is what I am asking. Both of these issues are dietary,
and we can fix it, I just need to know that first.
Luke:
What does your diet look like? Do you exercise? My guess if your weight is
stable over that time frame, your calorie intake simply matches your
expenditure. I need to know your activity level and if you weight train. Also,
how often do you eat? Do you have access to any protein powders or are we
dealing with natural foods. I can work with either so let me know.
Look forward to hearing back from you guys! |

| Date: 2007-05-02 07:43 ok thanks a lot William! Right now im trying to get into sports and go to the
gym.. |

For now, do something for me. Add in a fiber supplement and get your
supplemented fiber up to 30 grams a day. I want you to keep it there for 2
weeks. During this time, I want you to make sure you take in at least 4 liters
of water per day. Also, see if you can find a little dandelion root in the
store. It comes in capsules. If so, take 2 servings per day during this time.
Keep me posted and we will see what happens. I would expect you to be pleased
with the results.
Luke:
First off, no need for hugs and kisses.
Secondly, yes, work in the gym, with weights is a requirment to gain anything
from the proteing poweder. Keep in mind, a lean man, of your age group, will
typically only put in 6-10 pounds of muscle a year, with a good diet and good
training. You definately will need gym time if you are serious about putting on
size. Let me know, and I can help you with a workout. |

ID: 182758 Posts: 92 | Date: 2007-05-04 23:26 William,I'll stick with the fiber and drinking plenty of water as a daily
routine. Now about the Dandelion root,I'll pass I'ts more for these conditions
-Appetite loss
-Indigestion
-Kidney and bladder stones
-Liver and gallbladder problems
-Urinary tract infections
..and the side effects are something else..
infection due to ingestion of contaminated dandelion has been reported,
affecting the liver and bile ducts, and characterized by fever, stomach upset,
vomiting, loss of appetite, coughing and liver damage
According to traditional accounts, gastrointestinal symptoms may occur,
including stomach discomfort, diarrhea and heartburn.
The most common reported adverse effect is skin allergy, eczema, or increased
sun sensitivity following direct contact,I like to do more naturaly
things..So,Working out..right amount of fiber,etc.. Will do for me.
thanks!.. |

obviously that is a personal choice. That is why I always use a reputable
source, such as Natures Best or the CVS brand. However, do not always be put off
by what you read. The following are possible problems for 2 other things people
use as well. I am sure you will recognize the products.
Tylenolan allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of
the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
liver damage (yellowing of the skin or eyes, nausea, abdominal pain or
discomfort, unusual bleeding or bruising, severe fatigue);
blood problems (easy or unusual bleeding or bruising).
Vitamin C
diarrhea, or
kidney stones.
I wish you the very best of luck!

Ok, so I weigh 98.3 lbs.
I am about 5'4.
I want to lose fat in my lower abs.
I mean, its not like buldging out or whatever, I just want a more
flat apperance in my abs.
Same with my lower back area, I want to lose fat there too.
How can I do this with out fancy gym equipment?
-Amanda. |

| Date: 2007-08-10 13:12 Hi Amanda,
Lower abs and lower back huh? Well, based on your age, I would suggest making
sure that you are not taking in any junk food. Especially sugar products, like
sweetend soda, fruit juice or baked products.
I would also suggest some high intensity cardio, involving wind sprints, 3-4
times per week. You can do these in the road, or your yard. No equipment
required. It involves sprinting 100 yards, then walking back, and then repeating
the cycle. Work up to 10 sets, and try to keep the knees high when you do it.
this will also do a nice job of toning the legs and butt.
Let me know what else I can help you with!!!!
