Alright, these pictures are just practice shots from my friend using my point and shoot cam. I'm just trying to work on posing and facial expression. I know the coloring is to bright. I'm just trying to get used to being infront of the camera before I got get it done profesionaly. I just want to be critiqued on the pose. Give me some more pointers for next time. Last time I posted in here I got some good advice from you guys on the last photos.

I like the bw one. On the first one I less liked the pose. If you use photoshop for to blur the background you should use a gradient with your blur so that it looks a little more natural.

Crystal, they don't look like modeling photos, they look like you have a great time in forest (outside). Your previous photos were better (for me). I guess you know it by yourself. Try to copy other model's poses from your favourite magazines :thumbup: That's what for posing.

On the first (color) photo, you are hiding your left arm and hand. You want to be able to see both your arms and hands, you do not want to look like you only have one arm. The same applies to the second (b/w) photo. In the second photo, you hand and fingers look distorted. You want to show more of the hand and fingers. Try to position them over the front pocket of your jeans.

ya, your right. so when I try next time , I will be more aware of where my arms are next time i practice. its just so ocward starting out I guess.

Since you are working with your friend, ask him/her to keep an eye out for it and let you know when they are visible.

There are a few web sites about posing for the camera. You may want to direct your search engine to a couple of them to get some ideas. Fashion magazines are also good for inspiration. Just try and recreate the poses in them.

just my 2 cents crystal, the flash seems abit too bright, perhaps u could ask your friend to diffuse the flash? that'll give a nicer skintone...

pose means a posture that should attract the viewer,look some professional model's portfolios& do practice...sucsess is near.I like ur B/w pic.
