I'm assuming you want a critique. Mine is that the shot was done with a lens on wide-angle setting or with a wide-angle prime lens and the hand appears almost as large as your face due to lens distortion.

Such distortion isn't limited to the hands but also to the face. Far better for female models to be shot with lenses over 70mm (full-frame format) in closeups to give a more flattering appearance. Wide-angles are OK for full-length shots that emphasize the sweep of clothing, for instance.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

I agree with Charles, by no fault of your own, the photographer choose the wrong lens and makes it look like your hand is way to big.

You look great in the image but I am not sure what the purpose is...

oh actually a normal digicam was used.. ;) only 6.1 mpx. shocking. aint it. ;)

I agree with Charles.
And a digicam is mostly like a wide-angle.
The other problem with a wide-angle is, your face become big, and your nose appears bigger too.
The shot might be great with a 85mm lens.
And the flash focus to much to your cheek, so it become shiny there.

This is not a personal critic. This is just a advice how to get a better photo.

All in all an interesting shot - your eyes are great they seem to tell a story - but I agree with Charles your hand is distorted in size and attacts all my eyes attention - apart from that the shot is very nice - and the flash of red colour in your hand is interesting . As Eric pointed out the flash was to close to your face - shooting thru a piece of tough spun would have knocked the shine down a bit - also if you moved farther away from the camera - some of these problems would have been diminished.

Yes, your hand does dominate the photo. Another alternative would be to move your hand back closer to your chest or slightly beneath your chin so it is on the same plane or actually further away from the camera than your face. As a model your are selling something. In this case you are selling yourself. You do have a lovely look and it should be your face that draws the viewer in.

I like the photo, but speaking from the "model" angle, you should try to avoid modeling with your hands so clost to your face when doing just a profile shot. Your hand becomes as distraction, and we don't see you as clearly, this shot would have been amazing if it where a full body photo, but since all we can see is your face, its taking away.

but other than that you have amazing features and beautiful lips. very talented :)
