Hiya everyone, I'm a new here, and I'm looking for a job too. I would like tips for good portfolio pictures. Mine are not professional pictures but, I need tips before taking some shots.

Try and make them look as professional as possible. If your good with computers play around with enhancements and make them look more pro. Also a higher quality camera too.

Good Luck!

Thanks and hey, where is your picture? No offense but that is why I didn't accept your request. i need to see what you look like okay?

anyway u have to get some professional pix witha glamour touch, no doubt if u work hard & hava a strong wilpower....bright future is too near.

Thanks stdio jyoti. I'm working on having some professional pictures. I'll upload them ASAP.

All way go with professional pics. Never use pics that is done with a cheap digital camera. Pay professional to take pics build a strong portfolio. Plus if u decide to go this rout make sure you get some to do hair and makeup both are huge in make your pic look good.
I HERE TO HELP YOU ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST ASK:cool:

I'm still searching for professional photographer(s). I took some but they are not really okay. I didn't feel the urge to post them. I'm still looking around though.

Professional pics are best..I agree. Digital..webcam...aren't really the best..although, if they're clear..then a photographer or an agent will see your potential..and may request to work with you. I once had a myspace page a long time ago..the only pics that I placed on there were webcam pics and it was just for fun..yet, they sparked the interest of several clothing designers...professional photographers and a scout from Black Men Magazine.

Those pics got me a spread in a national magazine in the fitness section and got me an all expense paid trip to Florida for a 24 month calendar shoot and several other paid shoots, paid hotel, food, etc., a part in a short film, another shoot to be done in Canada, etc.

So, digital and webcam ARE effective if the images are clear...but professional are better.

The image below, was done by webcam and it was the profile pic on myspace that started my success and landed me in a national magazine. It was the pose, the colors and the uniqueness of it that caught their attention

You can try updating your portfolio by doing TFCD shoots with local photographers. You can search photographers here and ask if they would be willing to do so. TFCD/TFP is Time For CD (a cd of pictures)/Time For Photos/Prints. This is a good idea especially if you cannot afford to pay for professional photos.

Was thinkin abt dis pics issue. Thanks 4 d posts, will take 2 dem.

:) The pic is good.
