it like it is. and you focus too much on your body, try taking pics of your face
too. your poses are nice, but everyone can see you tried a bit too hard, sucking
your tummy in, poses everyone does, wearing lingerie (i made the same mistakes
too). it's good, but also try wearing some clothes and using those same poses,
you have a nice body and if you wanna do modlling, the only place i could see
you in is glamour. |

photographer to play with lights on you. Low key maybe. You might not want
people to wonder what if you wear this.. how would u appear in that. Show them.

| Date: 2007-03-26 04:16 Guys there is no reason why a model shouldn't just do lingerie & swimwear shots,
if they feel that is the category that they wish to specialise.
Yasmin may for all we know look fairly average in clothing and varied everyday
poses, but hey lets be totally honest here when it comes to the photos that
Yasmin has submitted they are totally awesome!
I am the generally the first person to suggest varied poses and clothing styles
to new models and those without direction, but I gotta be totally honest
Yasmin is a swimwear and lingerie model!
To Yasmin:
I beieve exposure is the key to your getting work in the near future! You need
your pics out there with links to who you are! If you are willing to keep an
open mind I am certain that there is a lot of work out there for you.
Please consider chatting with myself or simon photography or william here to
work on a way to get you seen outside of jurgita!

have already been mentioned...
Photo 1: Make sure your clothing isn't too tight. Your bikini bottom is cutting
into your hips creating an unflattering look. You are drawing the viewer into
your armpit as much as you are drawing them into your eyes. Background is
distracting, especially the palms growing out of your head! Photographer should
have caught that. Finally, this is about just about all your pictures... You
have a short neck and in every picture you do poses that make it even shorter.
Lift your chin up a bit... lengthen the look of your neck and it will flatter
you even more.
Photo 2: Again, drawing the viewer towards your armpit! Photographer needs to
learn shallow depth of field to minimize distracting backgrounds.
Photo 3: Not very good lighting on your face. I can't see your eyes. That is how
you should try and draw the viewer in... by your eyes, not just your body.
Photo 4: Head tilting down making the neck shorter again. Turning your face so
that half is out of the light. (remember, some of this is the photographers
fault, like the busy backgrounds that are distracting).
Photo 5: One of your better pictures but again you shorten your neck. Lighting
is really uneven.
You have a good start to your portfolio. As some have said, try more variety of
clothing. You don't have to stick to bikini looks. Some "photographers" may
enjoy that more, but this is about you. You may want to stick to bikini/
lingerie, but don't think you have to. There are plenty of great fashion looks
to try out!
Try different photographers. Don't stick with one because with each photographer
you will get very different styles and looks.
