Using the grandkids again.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

At f3.2 and ISO 100, here's a crop from above to show the 100 percent detail:
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

The almond-eyed brunette:
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

And the blue-eyed blonde:
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

The Canon 85mm L II is not fast focusing. For indoor sports the 1.8 USM is far cheaper with excellent IQ and faster focusing, but then there is the L's f1.2 lightsucking ability.

The IQ must be seen to be believed, so here are four more shots.

1. A full frame at f1.2
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!

A crop of the above:
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

Then we'll take a 100 percent slice and rotate for your viewing pleasure. Note the extremely narrow depth-of-field:
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

Lastly, let me tell you that none of the leaf shots were processed or sharpened. They were just converted to JPGs. This last shot is one at f16 @ 1/60s ISO 1600. By the time I took this the light was fading fast.

The first shots were ISO 100 at 1/640s.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

Im about to get that very model thanks for the posts looks like a very good investment.. i will be pleased..

It must be nice to have willing guinea pigs readily available. Ah, I mean, Grand kids.

My favorite is the sea grape leaf. It has the feel of the old sheet-fed press print magazine runs in low-gloss.

Is it live or is it Memorex.

Is it print or is it digital?

:cantlook: Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should
