Hey just wanted to find out.. do any casting agencies for producers/film directors making films set in Africa visit sites like these? How do they get extras? actresses etc?

Some often just ask the people who live around the area to fill in as extras. Some get the jobs through relations with the people who work on the movies. It's all about who you know.

you should base yourself in country like south [*Link removed*] has the biggest amount of hollywood star shooting movies in africa, also because there is lot of modelling and movies job down [*Link removed*] s gage (lord of war), don cheadley(hotel rwanda),taye giggs,samuel l jackson, jean claude van damme,chris tucker,steven seagal were the latest to shoot movies in cape town or johannesburg .there is also a movies studio there, they are very professionnel down there.

YES^-^...AND, where you live is a big plus...If you're nearby the location of the set already, with minimal travelling distance, it's easier to obtain the part...UNLESS,
you want to relocate...OR take up duo citizenship...Depending on the length of the film process.;):cool::thumbup:
