Hi Everyone, this agent is after sending me a cheque for big amount of money, but i am suspected scam.. he want me to deposit this cheque in my bank and send back 70% as fees.

"I am Richard Wilson and I work for a modelling agency called MOTA (My Online Talent Agency). We at MOTA have a few campaigns in which we use pictures of people who would not necceasrily be models.
I saw your profile picture and I think you would fit an advertisement campaign which I have on my books.
If you are intrested, feel free to send me a message and ask me any questions regarding the potential job...."

Is anybody else receive that email??

I know that was one post about him before, but will be great to find out little bit more!
Is look to beautiful to be true, i never meet him and company that want to use my photo never contacted me either, EasyTel.

There was already something about this in forums, it's a scam:thumbup:
He's best avoided & if the contact is in your private mail (hotmail, etc) block them:thumbup:

I am wonder what Sindi Dzepina did..? this is crazy, guy is calling me on my mobile every day!
lat email when i start asking to many questions:
"
Kindly send me a working phone number, i have been calling you, it will be better if i can speak to you over the phone and explain to you better because i am sure i have given you more than enough detail through e-mail but you still do not understand.
To answer your questions, you will sign up with us MOTA as your agency but you can still have other agents if you wish. We will be sending you your paperwork and contract as soon as you receive the payment from the company (TLC-THE LANDSCAPE COMPANY, LLC and SCOTT FREYMULLER
MELISSA A FREYMULLER LLC) who will be using your photograph.
The paperwork includes legal fees and sign up fees for the agency.
The photo is in the laboratory for modification and the copy will be sent to you after the batch production on August 10th, 2009.
I hope this is clearer? and i await your phone number so that i can speak to you should in case you have more question to ask.
Regards,
Richard"

When they e-mail you again mark the mail as "spam" & it'll go straight into the spam box instead of the inbox:thumbup:

"LLC" is a clear indication of organised african scam originating mainly from Ghana, Nigeria & Senegal, no company with offices in the UK or Ireland (or anywhere else in Europe) uses "LLC" after their company name, if they were based in the UK like the previous report of this in the forums said they would be either plc., Ltd. or Inc....

The source e-mail address could be a UK Yahoo! or MSN hotmail address but could be registered from anywhere in the world, they think they can fool you better from a UK mailbox or the scammers classic service... googlemail:doh:

You made a mistake giving your mobile number to them no matter what type of phone number they asked you for you should only ever give your fixed line (or landline) as you can get the number blocked from calling you...

You might need to either call your mobile customer services & either get your number changed or just buy a new sim pack on the same network to get rid of the unwanted calls:thumbup:

That Mr. Richard even sent me a bank acc. cheque which looks like an original :D:D:D

Hi,
Sadly a lot of models are getting same scam spam, seems its not just targetmodels2,see my blog

hey, yeah i've read before that its a scam... also avoid George Williams from CITYMODEL, well CITYMODEL in total cause thats also a scam... i got contacted by them with an offer that was WAY too good to be true and when i questioned the company, asked for web pages etc where i could view previous work done by them etc they stopped replying
