Why Are My Activity Points Dropping Off For No Reason ?

I don't understand why my activity points are dropping off. One minute they're there, the next minute they're gone. Please help !

It's because some of the members with the photo/profile moderation out there are approving bad profiles, I lose points through it too:doh:

Example :
Weight 23 kg /56 lbs
Bust 35"
Waist 28"
Hips 36"

The weight is wrong, but some approve it to get the points when they should reject it for measurments clearly out of range:doh:

As a result we who carefully look at the stats & only approve if everything's in logical range lose points, even drop a credit if the points low enough!

To date, it seems like a waste of time trying to get admin to take moderation away from the repeat offenders that pass an adult with a child's weight:doh:

As long as we who moderate profiles & photo's within moderation guidelines stick to the guidelines, even though unfortunately we lose points here & there we are doing nothing wrong, if a profile that looks like the example above, just reject it as normal & if you keep losing points send a ticket to admin, they can see who else moderated the items you did so the can see who moderated wrongly, you won't get your points back but admin can show them a yellow card, and eventually the red one & take moderation away if they keep passing things regardless.

Profiles are the worst for losing points.

I see. Now i understand. Thanks a bunch Gaz ! I like doing it but i's a real bummer if that keeps happening everytime....oh, well.....thanks again and see ya around !

HI! Jasleen:D
Take comfy *GIRL, look at it this way, you must be doing something right.
Here is where double psychology takes effect, to counter effect the negative points dispatch.
I just LOST 11 activity points, TONIGHT FOR REJECTING bogus NAMED accounts & bad mearsurements, ETC.
Like, e.g.:
1) 6'2" & 13 lbs.
2) 6'1" 192 lbs is ok, but NOT with a 17" waist listed.
3) 5'8" & 66 lbs.
4) Jessica simpson Jessi: as a singer w/ no avatar. I think there's ONLY ONE/*POP & Country singer, that formerly dated Tony Romo, before he 'punted' her?!!;)
And add others, with more like these falterings.../'
All we can do IS STILL ENFORCE what IS RIGHT.
Or just buy the membership level & skip moderation, if you're not a Moderator w/ a Symbol, you're not obligated. It's your choice to volunteer.
Whether it be :lips::lips: OR :muscle::muscle:. . ."TRUE BLUE" IS The GENE that fits ALL;)

Hmmm.....you're right there ! Thanks !

this is the age old battle between good and evil, the members who approve by the rules and the members who approve any profile with in sight - the good members will loose the points. i have been trying to figure out a system where a large group of the good guys gets final approval over the dark enemy. i think that if 2 members approve a profile it should go to there appointed real approvers. and that person makes the final stamp of approval - or rejects - thereby causing the evil doers to loose points - i think this way there will be less members named Adolf Hilter etc etc - any thoughts gang?

Admin are needing to pounce on all the deliberate rule breakers that keep approving bad profiles all the time...

Sometimes, even an appointed moderator on this site will make a little mistake with moderation now & then but that's nothing compared with some of the young teen models that do it intentionally for the points:doh:

I think it would be a good idea if admin were to check all the model & actor profiles once or twice a year as a standard routine check & either put profiles with wrong weights and/or stats up for moderation, suspend bad profiles until the model/actor fixes the mistakes then they go back through moderation for checks... the other option would be for admin to put BMI estimated stats or weights in respectivly...

If the ones that put the wrong weights & stats in would get it right in the first place that would help too:thumbup:

I think that's a good idea Pat. The final approval should be done by one person only.

You got a good point too, Gaz. Twice a year for a standard routine check sounds good. Lol ! Getting it right seems almost impossible as it seems like they're deliberately putting in the wrong weight and stats. Guess they think they can get away with it...... :)

Jasleen, Gaz, & Pat, take a lOOk at how few responses are here, that should indicate
there's not even enough to support a petition.:(

RESPECTIVELY I say to thee, & thou, & those to hopefully follow:
Realisticly Speaking..Good Luck with your hopes of Moderation Liberation & Reformation.

1 person's final say is not a judiciary means.../'
That's why the currant format is to have @ least two agree--& a third party, if two disagree, in order to stop a power play that could occur from one dominating the other for whatever reason that could arise.
There was WISDOM in that reasoning for that call of an aspect of Moderation terms.

As far as system check either annual OR bi-annually--Not a bad idea at all...HOWEVER, that would require even more strenuous staff effort, & cost more to install persons to do the thorough scan routine--We can not afford to pre-set measurement stats--since this would discriminate on those that fall outside the would-be general personal stats guidelines . Again, if you want more, IT WILL COST *U* MORE. ...The More TIME Involved & INVESTED, MEANS MORE MONEY REQUIRED FOR COMPENSATION>
(BUT) Hey NOW, Don't DREAM IT's OVER/'

Keep POSITIVE, & see what the FUTURE HOLDS!

I'm no longer a fan of posting in the forum but I really felt the need this time.

For about a week already every single point I've made has been taken down. I moderate pics and profiles the same way I always have, using the same criteria, following the guidelines as everyone should. That's how I became silver rather quickly and saved for almost 2 more months of silver account so far since I started being active on the site not long ago. This past week however, it's been impossible... almost as if somebody was messing with me.

I've been patient so far as I always have, thinking that maybe some irresponsible members were doing as they always do, just hitting approve without even taking a look at the profile. Today however, I made 30 points modding photos. These were no-brainers: unprofessional, cellphone snapshots which look good enough to be posted but wouldn't qualify as anything but "Other/general"

I just logged in to find 20 points gone, just like that. Am I just wasting my time? Like I said, I wouldn't mind if it was just the regular, occasional point-loss we all get... but after a week of struggling and today's vanishing chunk of points I'm feeling quite fed-up.

Seriously, somebody should do something if they want happy, active members on the site.

Andre:D, despite past indifference:. Here's where we 'unify' in a cordial fashion, perhaps.
I feel your frustration surmounting, & I sympathize with you over the issue>...You are not alone in this matter, but that's no comfort to neither of us, or any1 else, without resolve.--I stand with you in this area.--It is happening quite frequently to me, too--
In rounded numbers for e.g.: win10 here today, 20 there gone tomorrow, etc.
I'm not sure why I keep plugging along, when I see all sorts of subtle & blatant violations--even like full nudes in rated 'G' section. Are you losing points for moderating those. too?
I have no problems with nudes whatsoever--The human body either male or female is fantastic, especially when tastefully photographed...But defiance just for the 'halibut' sake of this is causing our moderation process to be burdened with undue pressure.
I wish people would simply follow the upload photo rules.:cantlook:

What's the point of being punished for doing good?:dunno:

Hmmm... i know how that feels Andre. Let's hope we get more responses with regards to this matter so then, perhaps someone will try to do something about it. For now, we'll just hafta hear each other out...... :(

When it comes to lost points, I figured something out. I hate to bring the caste system into this, but it's got to be. Members with a basic account can only see five pictures. The pictures are what most of them will cast their votes on. A VIP account sees all of the pictures. I think a silver can only see like eleven. Most of the "R" rated pictures are later in the galleries. Therefore, a picture that should have an "R" rating is only viewed by a select few compared to the first five pictures. Call it a hunch. Administration should take this into concideration when viewing the votes on accounts.

Casting points by voting on pictutres at any membership level has nothing to do with the loss of activity points done in moderation.

Silver members see 10 & gold see 15, VIP see all:thumbup:
Though sometimes gold members see all of VIP model's photo's (that may just be photographer's on gold level)... many that you see when on bronze level saying "upgrade membership to see more" it's usually only 1,2 or 3 more photo's in those accounts, and sometimes you get a model uploads 6 photo's & sets the 6th one as a default so you see all 6 without upgrading anyway:thumbup:

Voting like or dislike on photo's doesn't get me any activity points or credits, just adds to the like or dislike percentage & the total number of votes on each picture:thumbup:

I'm sorry. It was a thought. I made a guess.

So are mine, hmmmmmmm but maybee it will be sorted soon!

Gettin bit sick of doin moderators job and NOT seein any benefit?
shame there not as quick to give you points/credits as they are to annoy you with profile/photo moderating, anyone else gettin fed up?

Take some sort of comfort in knowing this observance, Savo..& others concerned..
Losing activity points seems to occur in bouts/batches, now & then, at least for me..
Not on a steady continual basis, because sometimes one actually retains their points for doing what is right, & at other times there maybe others who are new to the site interfering with the process' proper flow of guidelines..
Especially when a new influx of various members join the site..Is when I notice my & others points at risk./'
Also, consider the system cannot decipher between a vote of multiple reason reject & solitary choice reasons.......Thus, I believe this is 1 reason for causing a moderation glitch/es.
