I think it is not easier to become a model .when people in this world are not caring about their physical fitness and they are just trying to have a easy life to get fame and name without any game. when brand competition is intense. when people are unaware about the real agency to promote their profile and portfolio, when they are not having the talent to work as a model and when you dont know how and when to start and from where to start.
I think then best way is to promote through online no cost system and visit jurgita and look at the photos and article to get the idea about the modeling. It is really helpful in these conditions

yea its tru but modelling should not be about been professional but its it should be about training beautiful ones out there to become 1.i love modeling

Hello Honiska.

If you realy want to be a model, you have to update your stats in your profile first!
I NEVER will book a model with wrong stats :doh:

You also have to be in a good shape and train your body.

Then you can start to look for photographers to get nice sets of images to post them in different pages.

If you want to go to a modeling agency, you need no professional photos for the beginning, but some nice (private) pics where you show different looks and expressions.
... Holyday-pics are great for it ...
Never trust a photographer or agency, who want to sell you expensive shootings for sedcards :dunno:

Artemaxx is right - Modeling is all about you - I don't pay any attention to stats that are wrong - it tells me nothing about you.
Fitness and care of yourself is important - it is also important to be flexable in your look, the same pose or the same smile in every photo is worthless - you need to learn how to become a different character with each shoot. Like an actor.
Professional photographers are almost always willing to shoot TF (meaning - trade for) it gives them the opportunity to try something new with a new face and you get pro pics.
