By plucking her petals, you do not gather the beauty of the flower

It seems to me that this comment is in reference to stripping a personality. By degrading the spirit, you remove self confidence, motivation, self respect, and many other traits that make a person beautiful. A flower is only a flower as long as it has the parts that make it beautiful. By removing the petals, you truly do remove the beauty.

I concur with Mark, well said.
People can always doubt what you say, but they can't doubt what you do.

Let me update my last post. I'm sorry but I misread it. By plucking the pedals, you remove the beauty of the flower, but are they as beautiful as the flower was? Rhe pedals alone are a scented Item. They can make a room smell good when heated. They are sometimes used as a sensual aid. They alone, can never hold the splendor of the flower they once were. A growing flower holds it's beauty until it whithers. It then goes to seed, which carries it's beauty elsewhere. As flowers spread, They will create beautiful meadows and hillsides. This will draw creatures which will make the scene more beautiful. If you were to remove the petals from the flowers, all you would hold is the colors, which would only last a short time before turning brown. By removing the petals of a flower, you may hold the essense of of the flower for a short time, but you will never hold the beauty.

ha ha. The meaning of even simple statements has many faces. Here's another view Your attitude is fundamentally wrong f you want to pluck the petals. By wanting to own it or consume it, you miss the inner state in yourself of peace and appreciation of the beauty of things. Same as the other comments, with more emphasis on the psychology of the "plucker."

I guess your statement is just too simple for me to understand.

ALL THESE STATEMENT ARE GOING ABOVE MY HEAD CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN IN MOST SIMPLEST LANGUAGE SO THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND PLS PLS PLS

Hi Sonia;

I'm just trying to say that If you just take the petals, you are not taking the flower.

What it means is this:
A flower is beautiful because the petals are arranged to make it look beautiful. If you take the petals off, the petals are not as beautiful as the flower was.

Does that help?

In simplest language, the phrase is advising one to abstain from sex before marriage.

"Plucking her petals" (also known as deflowering) is not the path to knowing the whole person. It changes a person, makes one different, alters perspectives and can be harmful. Just as plucking the petals destroys the flower's natural outside beauty, so too does it destroy the inner and hidden purpose of the flower...reproduction.

Each premarital partner represents another petal being torn off of the whole until eventually there is nothing left for anyone to want. However, the flower that remains intact and is cared for glows beautifully and is admired.
:cantlook: Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should :cool:

I'm sorry. I guess I've just had too many psychology classes.
