First: H1N1 is a family of viruses, not a single virus. We have known about H1N1
viruses since 1918.
Second: If you know someone who can create a virus in a lab, let the world know!
There is a Nobel Prize waiting for that genius. Someone is watching too many
movies or listening to too much bar talk. Frankly, if you believe that we can
create viruses in a lab then you would also have to believe that man is capable
of creating life from scratch. Flu virus are always mutating. We learn of
hundreds of new flu viruses every year. Some are very potent and some are not.
We take the three to four new flu viruses that are projected to have the most
widespread virulence that year and make a vaccine containing pieces of those
viruses. Typically, you do not catch a strain of the flu more than once in your
life. There are just so many thousands of different flus out there and they
mutate so quickly that we can only inoculate against a few of them each year.
Third: There is no difference between the current h1n1 vaccine and seasonal flu
vaccines. It is made in the same manner and just as safe as the seasonal flu
vaccines. Ignore rumors that it was rushed into production and circulation
without testing. Malarky. We have known how to make flu vaccines for a very,
very long time. You cannot catch the flu or any other disease from the
vaccine.
Fourth: So far, the death rate from the current h1n1 virus is
lower that for seasonal flus. What made this strain slightly
different is the ages groups that it targets. Children seem to be a lot more
vulnerable. Why this is, we do not yet know. The spread of this flu has even
been slower than seasonal flus. This may be because it
manifested in the Spring as opposed to Fall or Winter.
Consider that worldwide, the flu is, and has been, the number one annual cause
of death by disease worldwide. Last year, almost 40,000 people in the United
States died as a result of seasonal flus. Worldwide, the number
is in the millions. The current H1N1 strain has not come near those numbers. We
will see what happens once the cold and flu season (in the northern hemisphere)
sets in.
What is good about the H1N1 scare is that up to the present, we inoculate
against flus, but have no cures. Now that public attention is turning towards
flus, perhaps we will start putting more research money into finding a cure for
the flu and eradicating the virus (like was done with Small Pox) so that no one
would catch the flu ever again.
While the public is currently in a state of panic it cannot see the silver
lining that researchers see: This virus was detected early, near it origins, and
tracked!. To a medical researcher, that is Nirvana as far as obtaining critical
information needed to help stop the spread of future flus. Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should  |

will not stop the flu and can actually prove dangerous to people.

journalists who are not properly trained or encouraged to dig deep into the
information behind their stories. Heck, the Patent number you quote is not even
the proper amount of digits or in the form of a legitimate patent
number.
I ask again that in serious health matters like this that people talk to their
doctors and not obtain ridiculous and impossible information from the
internet and pass it along to people as fact. You ARE playing with
people's lives when you distribute false information as you have done.

the mid seventies during an outbreak. This may be why the younger people are
being so severely affected while the older people are not.
As for creating viruses, H1N1 is a natural virus, but what about biological

Perhaps, this is just nature's way of trying to alert, prep, & ADVANCE our
GLOBAL readiness for self immune defense. After all, if one doesn't get
presented with a problem in school/life there's nothing to solve, nothing new to
research. Unfortunately, the laws of nature & humanity are trying &
sacrificial.
Issues of health that reveal statistical devastation in any degree should not be
taken lightly, but rather highlighted for warning & research prevention.
Therefore, I do not agree that that Gov't politicians "make a big deal out of
everything."
As a matter of fact, H1N1 virus shots can go wrong in just the right
unsuspecting body system type../' What seems ok for the majority, is not given
consideration at times to the rarer minority of events that could arise from a
potential lack to cover all angles of a given aspect. Then, unfortunately the
main stream averages considered are tended to first, as it will be meant to
provide a larger covering of ambitious remedial gain, where effort of safety &
concern are concentrated. Understandably so, from a scientific perspective of
"the needs of the many, out weigh the needs of the one"
(--or two or three--you get thee distribution ratio rational theory idea...Until
things can later be improved to a more stringent vaccinating ideal outcome...)
This illuminates the factorization fountain of fostering further indepth concern
as more advancement is acquired & proves "tried & true"...Then limbo-like
healthcare issues become further tightened in the scope of help & aid, where
more unique situations of people thought they had become forgotten, previously.
As far as the H5N1 virus, better known as the "Bird Flu"..It becomes
controversial to contend with which flu is more harmful.....
If the H1N1 (according to Wikipedia) is said to have been more easily spread,
but rarely fatal, yet H5N1 is said to be spreads slowly but is often fatal
.....
Isn't all this virul affliction in mass or sparce quantity devastational,
whether living through it or dying from it?? It most certainly spells out
(unspokenly) setback and productivity loss, which if the working class (esp.)
are "Infected & Effected" our economy feels the strain of the absentee
emloyees...and creates a trickle down effect of cutback contributions, & invades
distributive properties of economic sanctions, in various degrees of adverse
national monetary levels.
A HEALTHY NATION is a WORKING NATION that stimulates the economy, even shoulders
the brunt of economic down turn, & keeps a nation afloat. Wipe out a population
...by allowing seemingly lil' things getting out of hand.. Multiplication starts
small then graduates to mass quantities, if permitted, in any area of
matters.
CAUTION, no matter how awkward it may be perceived, & as noble of an intention,
there are those that resort to imbecilic scoffing at slight incidences by their
insensitive & insightless perpetration of narrow minded creed./'
BTW: Take a look at H3N2 virus that killed nearly 36,000 US people within a
year.
Is/was that not considered bad enough for Gov't concern & reaction to
action..?

Besides the H1N2 virus (found in humans & pigs) outbreak, that UK reported in
2007 as afflicting a portion of its citizens...Whether small or big issue,
REALLY lies in the eyes of the beholder for how serious ramifications can extend
& expand into, due to either lack of perception or strength of insight &
examination of case experiences to birth valid or near targeted conclusive
results./' Which is why not every1 will agree on the same level of
importance...Thus, leaving public mayhem of interpretation of what is or will
be.
Nothing stemming from magnitudinal disease discharge from either weak end to

When can any Gov't. ever afford to be negligent or aloof to the potential risk

Well, perhaps some special one of IMPORTANCE thought similarly to the regards to
the threat factor on the horizon of humans & nature, as I am trying to convey in
my own terms, as well.  to Obama 
 
In the case of Jordan McFarland, a 14 yr. old Virginian boy, receiving the H1N1
vaccine left him wheelchair ridden within hours afterwards of the injection. Is
it no big deal because it's a less frequent reaction? Hell_O NO!!!
In another case, a 14 yr. old girl, hugs a girl in friendly terms of greeting,
who is later found to be a carrier of H1N1, & ends up dying! Is/Was Michelle
Fahle's case of lil' importance? Ask her family & friends, who are missing her
to the hilt, right now, balling their eyes out for someone that's
irreplaceable!
GOVERNMENT is obligated to care for its Citizens, losing people due to unconcern
or no effort set forth would be subtle forms of genociding a nation by
neglect...Which is a sick weapon found on the off-branches of the Duluth wheel
of Power Control.
