I guess what you mean is 'have a man prove to her that his intentions are serious'. I think that's a cliche from the past millennium. Nowadays both Men and women are quite equal in most ways, most especially when it comes to sex and relationships. For every woman who's been played by a guy there's two guys who've been played by a woman. At least that's how it looks from my side of the court. So I think it's the same for us... trying to find a woman whose intentions are serious.

I don't think anyone has serious intentions nowadays... too much for the "now" feeling, and not thinking about the future.
