i've noticed that people like to expose what brand they wear, i mean clothing and accessories with huge labels and so on:cantlook: Would you wear things made by famous designer just because of the brand? like a shirt that you can't understand how to put on:D but still dress it on

Brand recognition is what sells the clothes. Just about everything I own has a logo.....LOL

Larry

WELL I DONT LIKE WEARING BIG NAME BRANDS THAT ARE SHOWN!! IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A WALKING BILLBOARD!!
BREA HENDRICK

I dont know why everything has changed so much, what happend to the day when the logo was on the inside or small?!
Everybody seems to compete with big logos now adays putting pressure on those who can't afford it.
Sure if you look through my clothes theres almost nothing in there with big logo's across [*Link removed*] although i still get stuff on sale! cept me dont think there real brand sorta names haha although its comfy so i dont care :D
i agree with Brea to not wanting to look like a billboard.. although... it sounds like a good costume lol
:cantlook: randomness again sorry:cantlook:
Howdy.I'm a 17 year old half asian from Ireland who really would love to get with an agency who can get her exposure or anything please look at my profile and get back to me :D

I agree with Larry!

This all seemed to change around 15 years ago and has got really stupid!
The subtle european led markets seemed to get over-run by the big USA and Asian brand names aimed at the younger markets, those younger people in masses wearing large designer labels in an effort to look good and be individual, when if the truth was known they looked just like the rest of the world and hey they ere un-paid walking advertising boards also lol!

i wouldnt put on a clothe because of the label but because i looked good in it

sure but what if you find a clothing that fits you but you can choose from one that says big name on you back and the one that doesn't? according to what i see in streets most people like to to expose what brands they wear:dunno:

I personally think it's quite tacky to wear big brand names plastered over your clothes. If the designer is good enough, the clothes will speak for themselves. :)

so true:thumbup:

No, I would not. I am paying for clothing PLUS I am paying to advertise someone? Come on! Really neat way to make and save money, though. Let your customers pay to advertise you. Better than word of mouth.
:cantlook: Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should

Apart from Haute couture - what designers design, manufactures make, and retail outlets offer, is solely based on what will sell. Fashion is a business, and its big business, and if something is not selling to the consumers in Europe or the United States it is pulled from the racks fast, to make way for something that is.

So while designers can influence what we want to wear, they do not control it. If having large designer logo’s across the chest of T-shirts, down the legs of jeans, or on the backs of our jackets is not what we the consumer are willing to put up with, then the designers would stop designing in this style. (Read be told to stop by the accountants.)

So while many on these boards are uncomfortable with being a walking billboard, until the majority of the customers stop purchasing boldly branded apparel, it’s a fashion trend we are forced to put up with.

Well.. frankly.. i do sometimes look at brand. Priority still goes to comfort and look.. but when it comes to grey areas.. brand does influence me. Worse thing is.. there are times when I wish to show it.. and I'm not sure why. Probably when i'm in a crowd and being less in any other factor except the brand.. he he. Anyhow.. I won't go for big ones.. enough with 1 x 1/2 inch label on the outside.. to be noticed when i wish to push it :shh:;)

I like designer stuff but I dont like to have the label showing....just like Brea am not willing to b a billboard:lol:. Am satisfied with knowing that it's designers' without having to show off it's logo
