well all right thx to some good advice from some ppl on this site i got in tuch with a "decent" photographer and he was willing to take some photos of me at no cost provided he can use em so i think they turned out great considering was done here in small town america and wasnt done at some big fancy shop but alas im proud of what i got and i thik its a good start even if you dont agree ;)
here is a photo thats not in my profile

It's not a bad first try, I especially like this one photo you posted, as it's better than the others I saw in your profile. You still need a better photographer though; I like the concepts he/she used but he didn't quite pull it off in my humble opinion. The full-front BW photo for example would have been great had the photographer not blown out the highlights so much. The one where you're sitting by the umm.. window, lamp? You know the one with the blue highlights,it would have been much better if not for the cropping. I like the one where you're sitting on the ladder, it's sexy, relaxed and looks much more natural than the rest.

In short I think it's a decent first shoot for you, the model, and will help you greatly from here on to have those photos, but do keep looking, maybe out of town, for better photographers.

yeah i intend to find a better photographer who doesnt work seasonaly taking pics of christmas babies for sears lol but i thin it was a great first step

Yeah!! It is a great way to start... Obviously when you're starting you're not gonna get hired by the top photographers... but hey it was for free and it's a good job and I'm pretty sure you'll find more more ppl who would be glad to work with you... Keep on trying and best wishes... btw Merry Christmas... :)

I agree with Andre.

Also if the photographer is willing to take constructive critique and learn from it, another shoot with the same photographer could very well produce images of a higher caliber... :dunno:
Why do we struggle to paddle upstream while the river is taking us where we need to go?

I have to agree with the others. Your photographer was working with too wide a lens which shows too much of the background and distorts the model's appearance. Such shots are OK in a fashion shoot, with a particular theme in mind, but your portfolio should have a mix of styles and images, including a couple of good straight-forward portraits.

The shot posted above is better.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

hmmm thx i will take the 7 i have posted down in a day or to and put up some of the others my looking at then i figured they were the best lol but i will see what reaction those get

Hi Kat,

Are you getting modeling jobs? You look great!
