besides the salary:D i mean both makes clothes and so on, both need to know newest trends... so what's the difference?

I think the tailor with alterier works with other designs say like it doesnt fit you they can alter it

but prestige designers have an ateliers to fit clothes to people and the ones that are not that prestige have ateliers as well cos they wish they were as good as others :cool:

A Tailor is a person who makes(as in the stitching it together part) and adjusts clothing to give a proper fit

A designer is a person who comes up with the ideas of the clothing

The two don't have to be exclusive from each other. Actually I'd say that it would help a design to be trained as a tailor as well

Essentially afaik there is little or no difference as you said it's the imagination or the person themselves...I stand to be corrected though...did you try putting it into google:lol:
