I am from Ukraine (I think everyone already knows :) ). This topic for girls more. Tell me what is your favourite decorative cosmetics in your country and what do you use?

For example, I like Pupa shadows and lips gloss. Recently bought foundation from Artdeco (not so bad cosmetics here :) and found it too dry.

Do you have a Vichy there? What do you think about it?
I am still here

maybeline lash mascara:thumbup: manhattan eye liner and can't remember what's a name on a lip gloss.. i prefer maybeline and manhattan nail cosmetics as they never disappointed me:thumbup:

I recommend MAC products quite often. They hold up well in heat and under lights.

Yeah, im a big MAC fan also. Love their foundations/powers/lip glass. Also love Estee Lauder for mascara and loose powder. Dior makes good eyeliners and mascara too.

I like Dior very much..Lip glosses, eye shadows, mascara... I also like Guerlain lip glosses. And Givenchy has fantastic colorful eyeshadows...

Good to know to pass on to family

i use mostly swissgarde products since my mum works there but for my face i use fair and lovely.

I don't have one brand. As their products are so vast and ever changing, I can't stick to just one.

When I can I prefer to use ones that are not tested on animals, so that rules out a vast majority of the more well known brands.

Their are stores around here that is a lot like Bath & Body Works but they don't do animal testing. I forget the name of the place however.
Everything I've done, and all that I have yet to do, is only to forget the meaning of your name.

Angel, if you remember the name of the place please let us know! The only brand I know of that's against animal testing is the Body Shop, but so far the only make up I'm keen on from there is the mascara. :dunno:

Actually you just said the name... The Body Shop!
The most recent mascara I bought from there is wonderful. Never clumps and makes it look really soft :)
My skin is prone to breaking out if I'm stuck wearing some type of foundation on my face for a whole day or if the make up gets old. I found a nice liquid powder one from there with tea tree oil in it and that helped with the break outs.

I can find basic makeup at places like organic grocery stores however, look to see if you have a good local one. :)

Oooh I see! :D yep, that's why I love Body Shop mascara. I usually steal mum's but I really need to buy my own. Have you tried their eyeliner? I've used Revlon and l'Oreal but they're not as good as I'd hoped, and although I did have a Body Shop one, it was years ago and I don't think it had been very good either. :endecided:

L'Oreal (lipsticks), Pupa (mascara and shadows), Mia (great soft red lipstick). If I need to put a tonal cream on then its Vichy, but i have not been using it since the winter! :) Better to avoid tonal.

YSL's Matt Touch is great as a base.

Oh, you are such a specialist :)

i realy like Marry Cay:thumbup:
:)

i really like eyeliners by Avon. more recently ive been using a black waterproof Annabelle one that i really like.
Eye Shadow i use the most is by Joan Rivers.
Mascara, the new fantastic lash by cover girl. i really really like it! (i think covergirl tests on animals though??)
My current favorite concealer is SkinTrue by Annabelle.
Fondation, I use Covergirl.. something or other..
I'm not a big lip gloss/lip stick person.. i usually only use Blistex Silk&Shine chapstick. I've used it for years and i love it.

I'm a big fan of Urban Decay (specifically their eyeshadows) :) it's a shame they're kinda expensive :(

Most of my make up - Estee Lauder
Some - Lancome
Mascara - Loreal
Compact Powder - SKII, Artistry & Miyami(Japan product)
