Chloe, You've already heard everything you need to know. Quit doing self-portraits in the mirror. It's OK for a snap or a joke, but not to promote your use as a model.

You have a unique look, but you need a pro photographer to take the best pictures for you.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

Frankly.. not sure about whether or not you should do that, but i definately agree that you go for a better photographer, pro or not. Based on your look and if you are really serious.. it is about time for some investment. After good photos, i'd recomend a good portfolio site. I can help if you need a simple one.

i basically agree with everyone else here. Get yourself a photographer who knows their stuff, and you'll get a lot better photos.

Chloe i think now you need to decide if and how you want to model if this is your aim!
you have had a lot of advice and ideas in forum as charles mentioned!
