my hair is naturally curly and i hate it |

| Date: 2007-04-09 00:28 My hair's naturally curly too.. and I used to straighten it. Now I don't always
have the time - or patience for that. If you wanna seem bold and serious you
should straighten it, but if you're playful and like to have a lot of fun (like
me hehe) curly is the way to go If it gets frizzy add a little bit of castor oil or a rich
conditioner of choice |

i have naturally wavy hair.. its a complete pain and i straighten my hair
everyday. on occasion i let it just dry wavy and usually goes frizzy.. but with
the right condition and some salon products it looks fine |

| Date: 2007-04-09 07:32 Yeh my hair is naturally straight.. which can be annoying and boring at
times..
Id love to be able to curl it or make it wavy or something..but im hopeless at
trying to do that.. havnt a clue how to use the curler.. it never works.. or it
never holds... just cant win .. lol
and chloe your hairs really cute when its curly. both them suit you.. the curls
give you more youth and innocence.. if that makes sense lol.
and kimberly i think the wavyness of the hair suits your face and smile. |

hair is good, too, especially long straight hair. |

| Date: 2007-04-11 14:56 curling iron, hot rollers.. theres also this trick my mom used to do in my hair
when i was little. Rip up an old sheet or cloth into a bunch of long strips.
before bed section your hair into approximately 1 cm2 sections. place one end of
the strip at your scalp beside 1 section and wrap your hair around the fabic
strip. the strip should be long enough that you can wrap your hair all the way
around it and then wrap the strip upwards around your hair again. tie the two
ends together at your scalp. do this to your whole head. Sleep and Vola! curly
hair.
Sorry for the extremely bad explanation..lol |

Cindy this is why people think I'm 15 and not 19
I have curly hair, and I absolutely LOVE IT! The only thing that bothers me is
that if I tie it up a few times the curls lose their bounce
I like straight hair too, but honestly it depends on the hair - I don't like
Naomi Campbell's hair except for its colour!
Larry!! how can you say such a thing? there is so much you can do
with curly hair! For one thing if you want to straighten it, it's more effective
than having straight hair and trying to curl it :P [using temporary methods I
mean]. At the same time I do know what you mean, because it depends on the type
of curls. All my curly-haired friends straighten their hair barring one, and she
doesn't because apart from liking her curls, her hair frizzes after an hour. [
we live in a very humid climate, and our water is hard]
But as for the easier comment, Larry is perfectly right. Catch me brushing my
hair while it's dry
Oh, Cindy, have you tried making a lot of little plaits and twisting them into
little buns while it's wet? You can also try rollers and hair products that make
the hair curl more [my mum uses Hot Ricci, bright pink bottle, not sure what
make but possibly l'Oreal] |

|
|---|
| Date: 2007-04-16 05:33 Nope havnt tried that yet.. i think though.. id get bored or really frustrated
trying to do that lol! might just rob my sisters rollers next time tehe
i tried curling my hair with the curling iron recently... but like one side was
ok the other turned out really bad.. then trying to fix it the curls startd to
fall out..
How do i get them to stay intact whilst curling them? id be afraid to use
something like hairspray in case i went on fire lol or more it'd damage my hair? |
|---|
|
|---|
| Date: 2007-04-16 06:12 Cindy, put the hairspray in before using the curling irons, and try one that's
either specifically to help curling or at least that's for strong hold/control.
Don't expect it to come right the first time use try something, remember you're
not a hairdresser
[and even they make mistakes sometimes lol!] Why don't you ask someone to help
you with the curling irons? It's much harder to do something to your hair by
yourself [once took me 2 hours to dry my hair straight on my own if my mum takes 20
mins on hers she's taken long!]. |

really needed though. and i dont have curls
Yeh that might help if i get someone to help.. dont trust my sister though nor
my mom.. so.. i dont actually have anyone.. might ask the bf haha although hed
prob kill me for even suggesting this online tehe.
that shall be down on my next shopping list" something to make my hair stay
curly"Live life to the max and never look back!

|---|
| Date: 2007-04-19 16:12 I prefer it curly. When it's curly you can straighten it. When it's completely
straight it's pretty hard to give it some volume and it ends up looking pretty
sleazy. |
