lol!
but that is a good question.
When I were looking around the adverage price was about €350+
That entitled you to a cd of most of your best shots and a print up of the
approx. 10 of your shots.

Remember professional is about whether you make money from something, not about
quality.
So an amateur can set up as a professional given the desire to do so. Digital
has reduced the set-up costs dramatically making this more tempting for some. I
have just noticed the increase of these recently. Add that to the demise of the
huge chain Olan Mills recently and you have interesting times in the UK at the
moment.

Yeh as they say money is what makes the world go around.
Haha guess I wont be professional then as i just want to help the models out

The cost is extremely varied and is based on professionalism and experience so
if someone is , say, trying to get an idea of what they should charge in their
new business, it's a good idea to charge based on experience, if you have lots
charge lots, if you have none, then leave it to professionals til you get some.
Depends on many variables. Market, Experience of both parties, what a portfolio
entails, here 10 shot portfolios run between $200 - $500 depending on the
photographer, experience level and amount of BS someone can spew to convince
aspiring models to fork out the cash. If that sounds cynical it should.
Build slowly with quality. Do a few TFP/CD shoots build a relationship with a
few models and use them as references. Soon you can start on some paid jobs.
I'm have my studio in Austria. Here it's also a regulary price between €
150,-- € 350,--. It depends on the expenditure. I work about 5 / 6 hours for
such a shooting and the model get a CD-Rom and 10 prints for the book.
Sometimes I'm also working on basis 'TFP' - if the model have a very interesting
idea
Tomorrow must be the longest day because everything is scheduled on it
I like that alot of studios here iv come across dont do TFP
although thats probally just my luck
I like your prices better though. Sounds more affordable to me then the ones i
were giving
Howdy.I'm a 18 year old half asian from Ireland who really would love to get with an agency who can get her exposure or anything please look at my profile and get back to me
One thing you may want to do is study the logistics of the area. Some prices
vary by average income for the area. If the average income is minimum wage,
pricing will be lower than a high wage area. Also, If you live in a tourist
area, you may need to set your pricing in an impulse range to appease the folks
that may see your prints in a Kiosk. Logistics play a very important roll in
pricing.
Have fun and keep shooting,
