What is the value of drawing with a simple pencil ?

Could it be you have learned another language ?

Drawing is a way to express things,
The value of it? its the same as asking why you do retouching.
Because you enjoy it and can express things
i definetly dont see how it be regarded as another language though..

It is visualisation!
Some people visualise their thoughts better through that medium, I find that pencil sketching is a quick medium for me to get designs down on paper whilst the idea is there with me, delay and all the softwear in the world and limitations of it can warp my initial ideas.
However, I am from a family of artists, so I can understand why others may wish to use programmes and the like to show their own designs and ideas.
