OK, IM NEW TO ALL OF THIS AND I WOULD REALLY LIKE SOME HELP.
HOW DO I GET STARTED AND GET AGENCIES TO NOTICE ME? PLEASE HELP ME ANYONE!!!

Firstly get better portfolio shots.
No mirror ones or arms length, Try get a headshot and a full body portrait shot.
Try contacting a photographer on a TFP basis, even try a local photography school
Then try contacting local, internatonal agencies.
Try for the local to make appointments or just drop in im not sure about australia but here sometimes iv heard you have to just walk in.
Go to open calls and castings too.

Best of luck!
Remember that there might be a few let downs in this industry but dont let that make you give up. Always keep your head up and keep on trying!

Hi Jade ...
I agree with Cindy ... but there is something more to say :endecided:
You have to do everything, to be in a good shape - some sport, gymnastic (pilates), healty food, ...
And don't forget your education :saint:
And never forget your dream, you are working for... !!! BUT - work hard ... modelbusiness is changing - a models is self emplojed - a entrepreneuse ... so YOU have to DO, to get first good shootings, small work and to find a serios agency - not to wait until somebody finds you
I wish you good luck
Gerhard
Tomorrow must be the longest day  because everything is scheduled on it

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

Or the shock factor would be highly effective in some instances.

mainly, you must have full shots of you and some emotional faces that can be different compare to the rest.try making it look photogenic and approaching agencies.dont be shy:cantlook:who knows maybe your a lucky model in the future?;)

Hi Jade,
get a friend to help out, select a number of different outfits and settings and looks.
Mix portrait, head full body.
Look for good natural lighting or get a car reflector and back it with some cardboard, basically the same as the pro reflectors. Morning is good, mid day use indirect light and a reflecto, afternoon can give good effects reflected.

Look at different poses and practice and experiment.

Select the best and take them to a printer.

PS delete that doubled pick

Jade, when Simon says morning and afternoon, you should realize that he probably means very early and very late. There is a period of time as the sun rises or sets when the light takes on a golden nature that is extremely flattering. The black and white picture on my profile was taken in golden light and, even though it is not in color, it influenced the look and skin quality of the shot.

If your statistics are correct and you are just 13, if you work at staying in shape, you have good potential. There should be a studio in Melbourne that will do good shots. If you can't afford that, then find out what schools in your area offer technical training in photography. Those students will be happy to trade photos for modeling as Cindy said.

The light below is a little past gold.:D
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

This is the right kind of golden light for human skin. If you could see the shadow it would be almost twice as long as the little girl is tall.

Well think you should just keep on enjoying yourself, try and get to see if there are photography students at your school who would do fre shots for you

hmm I don`t know... I need an answer too :D
