| Date: 2007-04-24 17:35 Dear photographers, professionals and beginners. I want to organize an event in
the dominican republic, an event where I will offer one week holiday in a 5
stars all inclusive resorts where, in addition to all the rest (golf, casino,
beach, sea, discos, restaurants..) , I will bring lot's of models from the
dominican republic and make them available for free, including hair-dresser and
make-up artists.
The price will be around 2000 dolars including fly tickets, more or less
depending on the country of residence.
My question to you is: will this type of event of interest to you? any useful
feedback is wellcome, thank you.

amature models to do TFP and it only costs them a cd.
Why pay 2000 when it can be done locally 
Although then again thats the 16 yr old one day working amature photographer.

| Date: 2007-04-24 18:47 because we offer the caribbean locations, with the sun, beach, and sea you don't
have into a studio, plus caribbean models and aspiring models. A model's
photographer can get pictures of new faces and then try to "sell them" to some
talent scouts, or an agency can send their model scouts at the event. In other
words because investing 2000 dollars can end-up being a good investment if you
can came out discovering a new model for your agency.

amature photographers. alot who are in college and need the money for college
and accom.

maybe less intresting for them because of the money, for a professional
photographer is like going to have a week of holidays plus the opportunity to
scout some new faces and the price for them is not high at all, a good
photographer can earn that money in few days.. if not in one day!
I am planning to bring at the event mainly the models and aspirant models of the
dominican republic, they can be at the hotel for free, so no expenses for them
and with a good marketing there will be lots of them.
obviously of foreign models want to join they are welcome, but the price cannot
be cheaper than that: fly tickets, hotel 5 stars all included for 7 days... |

yea...fly tickets is expensieve. but it's really a good opportunity for models
especially aspirant models lol.  |

Yeh for me the price of it is too much even for the photographer side.
But like as i said im 16 and an amature.
But i say there will be alot others who will jump at the chance of it.
Yeh i know that it could not be cheaper, i was more just saying that you should
also offer it for the foreign models, to learn but not be a model..
Like can be a great experience for them, to learn poses and how to act behind a
camera. or more like learn new things

For their Own accomomidation in that hotel you mention?

operator to offer a package that include the hotel and the fly ticket too.
The payment will be made to the hotel directly, which is the best of the hotel

certain places.
