unless you have very sensitive skin, waxing is a quick and relatively easy
alternative to plucking your eyebrows. |

know my moms friends daughter gets them done in a salon and they shave it
Waxing can be easier but you still have to pluck, liek you can get it waxed once
and then pluck every day for the new developling hairs, its quicker then and
cheaper.
And its not easy unless you have someone who is well experienced in waxing
eyebrows.
Waxing can cause problems cause they say it takes much longer for the hair to
grow backHowdy.I'm a 18 year old half asian from Ireland who really would love to get with an agency who can get her exposure or anything please look at my profile and get back to me |

| Date: 2007-04-30 18:31 Wow, I had no idea beauticians use razors for that
Mercy I didn't mean that it would hurt, or that the shape wouldn't come out well
[but if I did that I'd probably shave half my eyebrow off, so to
your hand co-ordination]. I use a razor for my legs and my underarms, the hairs
always grow back thicker and sometimes more than one [ ugh!], and they
many don't grow back in the same direction, so I figured it would be the same
with eyebrows.
Cind, I prefer tweezing, I'd hate to risk a mistake with waxing, and I can do it
in my own time and however I want. [Hair does take longer to grow back after
waxing, grows thinner too.. well,it does on my legs anyway ] |

| Date: 2007-05-06 16:30 Mercy, I've been tweezing for 6 years, I don't have any problems with it. It
does hurt a bit, but it's easy to get used to. I find that half the time I'll be
too busy concentrating to notice pain or discomfort. I do have to say though
that it hurts more when someone else does it for you I've never
understood why, but when anyone else does anything that hurts or is
uncomfortable to me, it hurts that much more than when I do it. Like
brushing/combing my hair, tweezing, and waxing.
Regarding your article, I can say that with the waxing bit there's always the
problem of waxing off too much/little, or not getting both eyebrows symetrical.
And of course if there are any hairs left over you have to tweeze them, but
obviously it's faster than just tweezing. It might be easier but you'd have to
check with someone who waxes their eyebrows. |

ID: 183020 Posts: 266 | Date: 2007-05-08 15:33 i feel tweezers are meant for pros. the reason why i think it is more painful
when someone else plucks out your eyebrows is because the person might pluck out
more than one strand at a time. secondly, you can stand pain better when it is
from you than when someone else causes the pain. sexy |

mind waxing or tweezing. It all depends on where in the world I am, how much
time I have available, etc.. But I have to be honest, the tweezers are the
easiest for me. The only problem I have is that I get in a hurry and don't watch
the shape!! |
