MANGA Rebekah Roberts, I am 20 yrs old professional dancer from Nottingham, England with a mature attitude to work and have attained a number of formal qualifications, honours and awards. I have the confidence and ability to demonstrate relevant grades and competencies.
BACKGROUND I started training at the age of three and have had IDTA, RAD and ISTD training in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Theatre, Jazz/Disco, a National Diploma and a Foundation Degree in Contemporary dance and also fully trained in hip hop, street dance and other commercial freestyle and dance forms.
EXPERIENCE My capabilities have enabled me to take part in numerous productions at local, national and international theatres and venues such as; Saddles Wells Theatre, Her Majesties Theatre, and the Royal Concert Hall. Also with participation in Dance Productions in Germany, Spain, Poland and America.
This year 2006, I have been involved in the 2006 World Cup Beach Football Tournament, where I was part of a six piece girl dance troupe. ‘Choreographers Festival’ San Diego, America; Tkspin ‘Masters of movement’ production Poznan, Poland; ‘Choreographers Ball’; ‘Laban Centre show’; ‘BIG SUNDAY’; ‘Vietnamese Society show’ all based in London; NCN College shows in Germany and Spain.
I am contracted to a few agencies to promote my talents in dance and modelling. With these agencies I have had promo work, Portfolio work, featured on ‘Celebrity poker’, and am also featured in upcoming music videos, as a dancer and model. And have a few more upcoming works in line and hopefully coming up.
Overall previous experiences involve stage performances, pantomimes, music videos, Festivals, Competitions, fashion shows.
