Ukrainian Female model Diana Kovalchuk from Vininca, Ukraine
won Elite Model Look in 1996. She works with all famous photographers - Patrick D'Marshelle, Paul Lung, Richard Fibbson and other. Journal covers of world editorials - L'Officiel, Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Mademoiselle, Glamour and other. Nowadays Diana woks on the catwalks of New York and Paris, though she had never dreamt of a model career (as she said).
Diana Kovalchuk was born on February 23, 1982 in Vininca, a historic town southwest of Kiev. Then part of the Soviet Union, Kiev is now the capital of the Ukraine.
In 1996, Diana's modeling school entered her in Elite's Model Look contest. The 5'10" beauty took home the top honor, winning first prize at only 14. Then, it was off to New York and a modeling contract with Elite, one of the world's top agencies. Soon, Diana was appearing such top magazines as French Elle, Glamour, Mademoiselle, American and Spanish Marie Claire, Amica, Cleo and Anna.
Since her discovery in 1996, Diana has also worked with many renowned photographers, including Patrick Demarchelier, Friedmann Hauss, Michael Wirth, Jeff Manzetti, Andre Rau, Toni Meneguzzo, Paul Lange, Richard Phibbs and Jonathan Glenn Smith. Diana was hand-picked by Pantene for a televison commercial and worked in the Oil of Olay campaign.
Diana made an impressive debut on the New York runways, appearing in the shows of Enrico Coveri, Marithe and Francois Girbaud, Marc Bower and Fernando Sanchez, among others. Diana is now based in Paris and enjoys travelling around the world. Diana has finished school and will probably now model full-time. Expect to see lots more of this incredible woman very soon!
