Nelson Vance is an undying force in modeling business. He started as early as the late 90's with the pack of the heavily favored American models, Jason Fedele, Mike Campbell and Ryan Locke. Some of the names has been phasing out in the business, but Nelson Vance has never shied away from the spotlight.
His career trajectory has been a roller coaster ride to say the least. Having been featured in nearly every major designers works, Nelson Vance still lacks of recognition in the industry untill the most recent spring and summer campaign for Kenneth Cole. His rise to the super stardom is in a gradual and quite fashion, but it's also been proven to be rock solid.
Nelson's exotic good looks combined with his humble personality is attributed to his upbring in southern states, Cordova Alabama to be exact. He loves Mexican food and travelling. His modeling on the runways for Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, Sean John, Perry Ellis, and numerous others has enable him to establish an impressive reputation.
Just like every other model, there were some embarassing moments with Nelson's runway experience. While he was walking during a Versace runway show, Nelson accidentally stepped on Boy George's finger, who was one of the guest performers. Nelson tried to be more than apologetic and polite about it. Anyway, as it goes, "it's nothing personal..."
