Erica Wells, a native of the Quad Cities of Illinois. Erica has always captured the attention of a camera since the tender age of nine when she first began modeling school at Barbizon in Chicago IL. She later ran for Miss Pre-Teen USA at age ten. This was the tip of the iceberg for Erica. Erica had found her niche and inspiration to become an immaculate model and actress. She continued doing fashion shows and talent shows in her local community throughout her childhood years and later at age 17 placed runner up for the Miss Geneseo of Illinois Beauty Pageant.
Even though modeling and acting has always and continues to be Erica’s first love she continued on to college at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Erica got involve in every organization that consisted of modeling, acting, and dancing. Throughout the four years she attended SIUC she was able to capture the elegance of walking and owning the runway.
This inspiring modeling/dancer founded a dance troupe right after college in 2001. The Dance Troupe was called Three Dimension, which consisted of pre-teen and teenage girls. Three Dimension was founded to help inspired young ladies just like Erica to become more involved with the community and self-development in order to be successful in today’s society. Erica inspired the girls to go above and beyond and never give up on your dreams and inspirations.
Erica is currently in charge of a modeling group known as “Jewels”. The women of Jewels do modeling events together along with sharing information about individual events. This modeling group is focused on new inspiring models to gain exposure and contacts throughout the entertainment industry. Erica is also a hip-hop instructor at the North Shore Dance Studio in Skokie IL. Erica. Erica will continue to strive for success in the modeling and dancing field. Through her hard work and dedication, Erica is surely going to capture her dreams!
