Born and raised in Texas, Kayla is one of three children. She loves of the country life and horses, running barrels and poles as well as working during the summer at a horse camp. There she helps the other children with saddling, riding and making sure they have as much fun as possible.
Kayla is no stranger to hard work, taking on after school jobs such as mowing, plowing and seeding peoples pastures on the tractor, riding and caring for horses, as well as other odd jobs.
Determined to save her money for college, she has managed to do this while still maintaining high marks in school amd earned awards in the city and county science fairs. She has taken high school courses sense she was in the seventh grade, and will be taking college classes by the time she is a junior.
With two parents who support her in whatever choice she makes for herself, as well as family and friends, this not only helps to keep her grounded, but gives her the wings to fly toward any goal she desires.
Kayla got her first taste for the limelight at the age of eleven when she competed in different programs at school. She has won best actress and best supporting actress awards. She has also won awards for her singing in school talent shows.
A child with a love of the dramatic, and the intelligence to learn rapidly, she has always shined in her own special way. She also finds time to enjoy life, her favorite past time that does not involve horses is mudding, and can be found on her four wheeler playing around after a good rain, covered in mud. At other times she is either reading, fishing, or hanging out with her friends.
Kayla has recently been asked to shoot for a company to promote their clothing line, calendar and catalog this spring. She is actively seeking representation with a reputable agency, as she is very determined to move forward with this, trying to gain more jobs and experience.
Affinity Models has expressed an interest in Kayla and is currently working on submitting her to their commercial print and promotional clients in Texas.
