Born in the u.k., I trained in Dance and Theatre Arts as well as successfully achieving academic qualifications.I began modelling at the age of sixteen and have continued to work on and off over the years fitting it in to a busy family life.With my children now aged thirteen and eleven I now have the time to launch back in to an area I have enjoyed immensely.
At university I was involved in media work and became confident in front of the T.V. camera, as a member of the Student Television Society.I also acted on the stage, performing in festivals in the U.K.During this time I continued my studies and qualified as a teacher (P.G.C.E).
Keen to travel I left the U.K. and have since worked in a variety of international schools , teaching English as well as Dance and Drama.My work has frequently been geared towards 'Perfoming Arts' involving choreographing performances and developing the students deportment and overall confidence.I found my own training at modelling school helpful in conjunction with my teaching and inter-personal skills.
My love of travel has taken me to Spain,Abu Dhabi,Jeddah,K.S.A. and most recently to Muscat.I have lived and worked in these International settings whilst bringing up my family.
In Abu Dhabi I branched out in to another area ,this time setting up a small business selling sun protective swimwear (Before it became widely available!)This provided me with further sales and promotion experience, as well as the enhanced ability to get out there and really sell a product!Once again the modelling skills helped.
I am a very lively ,energetic and enthusiastic individual with the ability to add my own style to what I do.This is combined with an ability to be flexible ,adaptable and tolerant of others.I am 'outgoing' and sociable and I think having a good sense of humour enables me to deal with whatever situation I am placed in.
Working in a variety of cultural and cosmopolitan settings has added to the breadth of experience I have to offer.
I am a keen sports person and keep myself in great shape at the gym.I have also taken the P.A.D.I.Scuba course (Good for underwater shots!)
I am a frequent visitor to Dubai and have recently invested in my own property there.I am keen to to take on any exciting challenges this vibrant and expanding city can offer me!
