What is a Carib Goody?
Well, it does not get any better than the tropics! Life in paradise. Always moderate temperatures, not too hot, not too cold. Year round sunshine, warm seas and snow white sand.
Open ocean, hidden caves, island hopping by sail or power boat. Anything to suit your flavor. Pure nirvana!
Carib Goodies is a company that shows off the paradise of the Virgin Islands. We are part of the United States of America but without the hustle and bustle of the mainland. Consisting of three unique and beautiful main islands and more than 50 pristine cays, the Virgin Islands is perched on the outer edges of the nation and is a unique environment for national and international exposure.
We serve over 2 1/2 million tourists a year and play host to many celebrities and multimillionaires who have made this tropical playground their home away from home. Carib Goodies serves these people with magazines, tourist guides, post cards, calendars and advertisements of the many luxury goods sold here at duty free prices. Our products are all Carib Goodies.
Carib Goodies meets a standard of excellence that is hard to compare. The models who represent Carib Goodies' products must also have an excellence beyond measure. Perhaps a dozen models a year make the grade to be called a Carib Goody. We are always looking, always searching, for that individual who stands out above the rest.
Once a month a model is chosen to represent Carib Goodies. That model is flown to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands for an all expenses paid weekend of salaried shooting in our Caribbean setting.

ABOUT KARL CALLWOOD, FOUNDER OF CARIB GOODIES
I have been Photographing for 25 years in the Caribbean.
I am shooting for magazines, calendars, postcards and doing scenics for my publishing business, KHC Publishing. At present I am casting and photographing models for inclusion in a video game. 2008 Calendars are also up for grabs. I have calendars requiring casual wear models for the tourism market; swimsuit calendars and fine art (topless and nude) calendars that need models. Sometimes I have need for models for advertising campaigns for my clients and for the CaribGoodies.com website (currently rebuilding because the dufuses running the server in Texas unplugged the Raid system for like...half a year!!!)
If I find someone is fantastic enough, I do hire and fly in select models to do tropical photos sessions for my tourist magazine and music CDs many times a year. Intrigue me! My presense on this site is to look for and recruit models for my company projects, not sell my photographic services.
I like being creative, be it in writing, drawing, designing or photography. I started publishing companies so I could do this my own way. I started in graphic arts at a print shop while in a senior in high school in 1982. I later sold advertising for a local tourist magazine, assisted as an assistant journalism teacher and was a newspaper editor-in-chief in 1988 before being drafted into politics. I served for a number of years as Chief-of-Staff before leaving to start a publishing company, Creative Publishing and through it published the first all-recreation newspaper in the Caribbean. I expanded beyond that with Star Melodies VI, a music production company. GKC Companies was started as an umbrella corporation covering my commercial art, promotionalventures, advertising agency and web design facilities. I now run those ventures and have returned to the Legislature of the Virgin Islands doing legislative research, writing and bill drafting for the majority leader.
