John Berry SHOOTS People ... Places & Things!
28 years photographing assignments for the best magazines, newspapers, advertising, commercial & modeling/talent clients in the world!
In 1980, I graduated from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. After graduation, to further improve my skills in photography, I went to work with a LIFE magazine staff photographer. During this time I assisted, or photographed assignments, for many Fortune 500 clients' annual reports, advertising and in house publications.
One day I decided I had the knowledge and talent I needed, and I opened my first studio in Miami, Florida. And I have been shootin' every since. I have been a Staff Photographer for numerous newspapers, a "stringer" for The New York Times, and a photographer for Black Star, then Gamma Laison Photo Agencies.
My drive, my cameras, and my love for photography, have taken me to every state in the USA, Europe, the Caribbean ... and finally to SE Asia, where I now call Bangkok, Thailand ... my home for most of the year. The rest of the time I live in Palm Beach county in Florida.
My studio is the world ... I shoot assignments ANYWHERE in the Universe!
