American Female producer Yuki Togawa Office from Mill valley, USA
"Art is medicine and it needs to be treated as one." - Yuki Togawa
I have experience in a variety of fields from beer import, almond market investment, producing films and animation, photography, marketing, curating art, lobbying, philanthropy, grant making, protecting women as an IVAWA Advocate, assisting asylum as an Immigration Advocate working hand in hand with a well known law firm in SF. There just isn't enough space here...

Productions
If it matters what I have done in the past, I am the former International Production Manager for Telescreen Inc. when they were in Tokyo producing Moomin, Calimero, distributing Joint Venture Animation Productions to 32 different countries and exporting TV Champion to Hong Kong. I am also former Production Manager for International Joint Venture Animation Production Department under the guidance of Seisaku Producer Takeuchi when we were producing weekly Spiderman as we completed Letus Pro, an automatic animation and coloring system. I believe in computerization of animation but I also would like to preserve traditional hand made animation. It has a texture on its own.

Event Production
My full exposure to event production was with Keiko Fukumoto (her sir name has changed), who was Spokesperson for Yoshiro Nakamatsu during his election campaign running for Governor of Tokyo, she is also the Founder and CEO of Dodecagon Ltd, Tokyo at the time we were producing events for musicians as Kenichi Mikawa, Kase, and Seiko Matsuda as we owned the Editing Studio in Akasaka. In case you have never met Keiko-san, never been out on her sexy red Fairlady Z, you are missing the most entertaining producers of Japan. I have also helped Udo Music on occasional events when they lacked hands.

Technology
I assisted Alias Wave Front get established in Japan when Yoko Monique was there, Sanrio to design, produce and promote the Kitty Land Park, design and construct Star Tours in Tokyo Disneyland. The hardest work I have had in my life was to assist one of the major investors in Japan, lobbying an automatic finger print identification system into USA.

Art Promotion
I do not believe in conventional art marketing of gallery display, publishing a book, post cards, greeting cards, print making where most of the work is waiting for art appreciators to come find the art. It is certainly a gentle approach but I find it less interesting these days. I would prefer to see the art on the sails of large vessels, on the exterior and interior of privately owned jets and airplanes, on buses, taxis, trucks, community outreach medical vans, on the clothing of peace keeping athletes and covers of DVD and CD. I believe in traditional artists working in mutual stimulating studios with musicians, vehicle, jewelry, ceramic designers, architect designers, city planners, healers and patients with terminal illness or recovering from a long term political imprisonment. Art is medicine and it needs to be treated as one. Do I sound odd? I hope I have not lost you. If you must know who I have worked with, Galleria Prova, Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, Heian Chika Art, PISA, Karl Springer and a few others. I am looking into Miya Ando right now.

Investment
My international investment mentor is Koaru Ogawa, the most well known for his ability to see 10 years ahead who has been guiding the top 100 industries in Japan to enter 200 industries in USA. He is likely buying all the General Motors he and his investors can buy at this time being. He often took me up to boat racing in Heiwajima VIP Lounge and used to complain about under qualified people getting to membership to the Lounge upstairs. I enjoy Pre-Production Investment Presentation, Preproduction Distribution Contract Negotiation, TV Network Negotiation, bank investment negotiation, making contracts in currencies that will not fluctuate against USD nor against Yen so that either party will not lose due to currency fluctuations. I am passionate in Marketing Rights and at the same time linking the themes with/against the political, economical, civil rights movements. In other words, I am a trend initiator.

World Peace & Human Rights
I am having fun converting myself to more of an activist based media producer (took Communication Law and Environmental Law but I ran out of money) and seeking for media professionals that have courage and not intimidated by social pressure and occasional intimidating phone calls and blackmails. I have started to work in affiliation with a prominent law firm in SF with a team of experts that share my view of the world and civil rights. One of the lawyers and I were talking about how much problems would be solved if we had a Global Minimum Wage. Something to visualize with a professional attitude. Why is it that DOHA Round Negotiation takes so much time to come to an agreement?
