Mike C Berry is an award-winning programme-maker who has overseen in excess of 450 hours of TV over the last 20 years. Whether one-off specials or presenter-led series, all Mike’s shows have attracted critical acclaim and peak ratings in their slots - he "gets" channel needs and can deliver on a range of brands. During his career he has produced, directed and executive-produced for ITV, BBC, Discovery, Animal Planet, National Geographic, Sky One, Star, Sony, Five and PBS, across history, science, wildlife, factual entertainment, arts and light entertainment. At Parthenon Mike oversees the production unit, Executive-Producing a busy slate, keeping creative controls from development through to delivery and working alongside the CMD to steer the vision for the company. As well as managing broadcaster relationships and securing commissions and co-productions in the UK , US, Central Asia and India, you’ll still find his spending long hours in cutting rooms obsessing about getting programmes just right for their audience. With a master Degree in Mass Communication Columbian TV & Films Institute, California, Hollywood and at present he is preparing research chapters on audiences Behavior, Mike started out researching natural history programmes and his background includes managing a fine art collection, running environmental expeditions and being part of a Creative Consortium for interactive media.
